Hi there,

Right I'm from the UK, 6ft, 170lb agressive all round skier. ski in Europe

I'm going to buy some chronics,

1st option is to get 2012 in a 178,

2nd option is to get 2013 also in a 178,

If i could get the 2013 in a 185 i would do because they sound sick, but its too expensicve for me here in the uk, a lot more. 178 is the only option

What would you recomend, i ski more "rest of the mountain" than park 70-30, but still love doiing smaller jumps, rails, skiing switch, drops.

will the 178 2013 feel too short,

thanks in advance for your opinion

Well Im 5'8 and ride 176 jmos which do have a little bit more rocker than chronics so i would say probably size up. Specially if your skiing alot of all mtn.

I think I really know that the best option is to go for the older because without the early rocker it will ski a bit longer.

It's so anoying that the only websit that has the 185 in stock is selling it for £400. And you can get the 178 for under £300.

Wanted to ship from the states where it's cheaper but they won't ship certain brands out of America.

Any know if I would get any problems getting it shipped as a gift from friends, from a customs point of view?

I'm skiing in march only for 6 days since working last season and iit needs to top draw!

I'm 5'10"and I ride the 2013s in a 171 and they aren't top short even with the early rise... PS I love my chronics you made a good choice

Cheers guys for responding

To conclude I have bought the 2012 in 178 and I'm sure il be happy with them, after all thats what people had before the 2013's came out.

I think i decided to get on the chronic wagon a little to late, had no idea there was so much hype on them until last week. I'm just glad i didn't already buy the salomon rocker 92's which was my original plan, and that was all down to some funny guys sarki comment about them...

one love
