I'm about 5'5 and weigh around 120 poundss, i ride a pair of 166 line afterbangs and i love them but the bases are really slow and when riding and warmer weather they practically get water logged.
I'm looking for some new skis and ive been looking at the suspects and the punx,
I normally ski smaller tables and rails because my home mountain suckss ahaha, But every second weekend i go and ski an average park with average park jumps
whats the better ski?
durability? flex? weight?
im looking at spending 500 or underr, any other skis to look into?

for sure not suspects. they suck

look into armada ar7s i have ar6s and love them so much
also i heard the halos are good

if you want salomon look at the 2012's (this is the name of the ski not the year of it), punx are a solid ski, I love my volkl walls so you could look into those. Don't get suspects.

Out of those two choices, Punx. Suspects have bad durability due to the edge armor.
If you really want Salomon skis look at the Salomon Twenty Twelve (softer w/rocker in tips and tails and standard camber underfoot) or the Salomon Pro Pipe (stiffer). Both of them do not have edge armor.

LOL no, they fucking rock. they ski like champs and are one of the best park skis out there. the question is, do you want to buy a new pair every 5 days on them?

okay:

punx:

soft flex

very light

symmetric

-thin edges= durability good if not used excessively on rails.

suspect:

very stiff flex

medium/normal park ski weight

not symmetric

-thicker edges but edge armor.= edges rip out very easily.

many members have made very bad experience with this ski.

why not go for the T-Hall, soft but durable ski, or the Walls if u want it symmetric and a bit stiffer
