K so evo is having a sale and I can get last years caylors for like 500 bucks (just have to buy a cheap pair of socks or something with it). My question is, is it worth the extra money just to get the added taper in the tip on the new model? I also have a trade show coming up so I could also wait till then to see if there are any other deals. Any help?
 
Get the old ones, there's a slight (2mm) taper on the new ones but it is very mild and the difference will be subtle. Save your money for lift tickets.
 
I bought last years caylor last year at evo and have not looked back either way you are going to have fun they are the perfect ski for what i like to do i.e drop cliffs and butter around it is a great ski and I would recommend it to anybody looking for a pow ski.
