So nike is doing the NFL jerseys starting in 2012, some pictures are out there and if you are a fan of football you should check them. Some look dope but most look awful to me. They changed pretty much everyones jerseys. The pats have an american flag on them.

It may be that im not a fan of change but Im not really a fan of the new jerseys, maybe they will grow on me.

why am i not suprised that the best team in the nfl is the team thats also paying homage to the best country in the world?

alright, just looked at all of them, and i think they actually look fuckin sick. my favorites are jets, pats, panthers, raiders, falcons, cowboys and bills

I dont even like football, but I think the pats one is a bit...excessive. Is there really any appeal in playing in what is essentially a giant american flag?

Though I think it'll look better when playing, and not being modeled.

still though, releasing the jerseys 2 years early? Almost every major soccer team in europe gets 2 or 3 new jerseys every year, and they release them a month or 2 at most before the season begins.

apparently tom brady is black now. i guess nike made him change is skin tone as well. also, why is the logo backwards? jus sayin.
 
The whole Patriots "thing" is they are the Patriots, it's kinda part of the name... plus they are from the Boston area right near where the Revolution started.

Also, don't soccer teams get so many jerseys cause they got sponsors plastered across them?
 
I live about 20 minutes from their stadium, I know all too well why its like that, but it just seems excessive. I like their current jerseys. Nice, subtle but good looking. And they also have the logo on the helmet facing the proper direction...

and most soccer teams have 1 shirt sponsor, which is the one across the chest, and have the team badge, but thats it. The make new ones each year because they sell replica kits are reasonable prices (not $200 per jersey, which makes no sense) so they make millions off selling their own shirts to fans.

I really want to see the fucking Packers uniforms but can't find them. ARGH!

some of the colour combos on some of them look great though. Though they do like tight. Any player who is even remotely out of shape is going to look horrendous.
 
jersey sucks though. I'm a die hard raiders fan and I just want the traditional black, no silver lines throughout.
 
They are the pro combat jerseys, just like the ones Virgina Tech wore and Boise State wore when they played each other.

These will probably be worn opening day and maybe another game during the season, other than that they will have their traditional uniforms.
 
When i read the OP i was thinking "if they look anything like some of the NCAA uniforms that came out this year they are gonna look sick" and THEY DO!

all of these are fucking ridiculous. They look like a bad scifi movie you see at 3:00 in the morning. alot of the jerseys now with the exeption of the patriots should stay the same. all of this is a royal load of horse shit. goddamnit there football heroes, not the fucking justice league

so to nike: fuck you, stick with tradition. that is all

most of those are hideous, theyre trying to replicate their "modern" ncaa jerseys and copy alot of their styles. also a lot of teams have traditions with their uniforms, especially the packers. theres no way in hell they are going to stop their tradition with the yellow helmets and boring striped jerseys.
 
still no packers. they're too traditional to have any bullshit jerseys like those. some of the college ones this year are sick as fuck like virgina tech's murdered ones, but these nfl ones are horrid.
