2012 ARG?

Who cares? Just get the JJ. Notice how the ARG died out as soon as the revamped JJ got introduced? Theres a reason for that.

you can't really compare JJs to ARGs, 2 different class of pow skis

how ever, armada has definitely let the arg fall behind other RR skis on the market(parxis pow, dps lotus 138, moment DP), offering such a shot size has hindered the sales quite a bit. Have you ever skied them? they ride like hey are 160cm long. if armada would put out a 195+ length, i think you would see the sales of the arg increase.

I like my ARG's more than JJ's and even more than Donner Parties.... but i don't like them more than Praxxis RR skis.

Bingo. Comparing the two is like comparing a spork to a fork. Obviously the fork isn't going to be as good when you're eating soup as the spork is...

I have to disagree with the length suggestion though. I think 195 would be overkill. When I ski the ARG in the conditions it was designed for (deep ass snow), majority of the time the entire surface area of the base is in contact with snow. Any more ski would make it difficult to muscle around. That being said, I'm pretty short, so it could be a different story for a bigger person.

ARG is still my favorite pow ski!

ya i'm 6'3" so they feel like snow blades to me, I find I enjoy RR skis over 200 far more then under, even with steven's pass' tight trees
