2012-2013 Saga Thread

Well it's mid August. About time to start bitching about how bad I want my saga. I had a fucking dream last night about my saga arriving in the mail. It was awesome.
 
I'm about 5'9" 140 and getting anomie pants/jacket this year but what size? I like a medium baggy fit and I'm stuck between the medium and large. I'm kinda thinking medium pants large jacket but I want to know what you guys think. Pics would earn generous amounts of +k. Also what color ways should I go with? The Wiley miller with black or red or Stonehenge pants or the Durtschi with blue or black pants.
 
just won that facebook contest and am getting the fatigue 2L in the raccoon colorway. ended up going with a large because it has a 33in zipper, which is big enough for me. was gonna go with the open season or zissou colorway, but neither match my blue oakley pants.527561.jpeg

 
that is a tough call for pant sizing. I would go with the large though. my reasoning is i could handle pants being a little too big but having to deal with pants that were a little too small would annoy and frustrate me everyday. as for pants to go with the wiley miller pro model black is a classic. red and stonehenge are a little too busy/matching for my taste. i would probably go with grey. its simple and solid like the black but just different enough to make a difference.
 
So I pre-ordered a couple of weeks ago and i'm supposed to be getting a free hoodie does anyone know what size it will be.
 
I cant give you an exact length until tomorrow but they arent necessarily tall fit hoodies. They are very standard black hoodies. Not to say theyre fat and stout. but if i had to say off the top of me head theyre 2 inches shorter per size than our signature hoodies that run 34.5 for the xxl. so somewhere around 32 to 33 inches. but if you still want to know tomorrow PM me and ill measure one at the office.
 
Does anyone have any photos of what safari khaki looks like in real life, or on snow? I don't want it to be too dark and it looks pretty dark on the saga style and fit guide.
 
I can understand your taste on the color, but to be honest I think a light khaki would just get dirty real quick.... a darker shade was def the way to go
 
Durtschi, McChesney and Collins all wore the same pair of the safari Khaki anomie pants this summer for about a month. I didnt notice any stains or dirt collection. And if its going to happen anywhere its at mt hood in the summer.So whatever people decide the shade of khaki is i think its a good one.
 
exactly, I just think a really light khaki shade might have shown dirt a little easier. Def glad they went with the darker shade. IMO they are the best pants dropped for this winter
 
Question :

Looking at Camo Fatigue jacket in XXL is it going to be a similar width as the Shutout last year kinda like tall slim?
 
Yeah just saw on your blog, thanks, seems more of a dark brown than tan but it looks good. And yeah you guys are probably right about a lighter colour staining more easily.
 
I have a 2011 XL Anomie jacke, I'm 6'2 and really love the fit. I'm looking to buy a hoodie but im not sure what size ?? I also noticed that Saga makes XXL jackets now, are these much longer then the 2011 jackets ?? Or if someone 6'2 could post a pic and tell me what size their wearing, thanks for any help.

And is their anyone who is 6' that went from a XL Anomie to a XXL anomie jacket and is there much of a difference ? Plus k for help.. I'm tall and skinny and I'm not sure if 2 1/2 in. Length is worht the 1in. With!?!
 
Fuck my Phone. I have to post here now. I ordered a 3XL red Flannel a red XXL frontier Button up and a Tee. Everything will ship out after Oct 15th and i found out that I paid 45 for the Button-up when it is just 22.50 now in the store. So the guys at Saga said they will send me a OG hoodie because of the price drop. So legit. Kind of a shutout but i also want to know if i ordered the right Flannel size. Im 6'3 and want it fit Pretty tall for riding in it but Not retarded Big. Was 3XL the right Choice? Or should ive gone with XXL?
 
Sorry I just seen that their shipping the new stuff out Oct.15 and on the flannel 2X & 3X are the same with but a lil longer. I would just like to see how the Tee's n Hoodies fit on a 6' person. And I know other company's messure differently, i just want the basic idea of a 29' tee or 34' hoodie.
 
No one is going to be able to really tell you how the stuff looks or feels on them because the items havent been released yet. your best bet is to put on a shirt you already own and hold up a tape measure and look to see where it sits.
 
Why doesn't anyone ask these questions to the saga live help on their website..? Your pretty much guaranteed a quality answer..
 
you need to also consider that since the company is based out of utah the person operating the live chat will be working semi standard mountain time business hours. If youre in other parts of the US or the world you might never be catching at the right time. During the shipping season they have someone on live chat more often than than any other time of the year.
