2012-2013 Saga Thread

Your parents pay for your living expenses. The whole point is to help out college students because they have a tight budget. If they did it for high school they should just do it for everyone because being in high school isn't an expensive thing
 
Sizing question...

I ordered a Large Puffy Vest but I'm having second thoughts. I'm 5'9 135 (not growing). I like my gear to be long but not too super baggy, I'd like mid thigh. Thinking now that Medium might be better?
 
i did that throughout highschool too, the only thing my parents ever bought was my ski pass because we made a deal that was based on my preformance in other stuff. you dont really have many other expenses in high school, you can get away with not spending as much when you need to save.
 
Ok so this could be a repost, But im a little confused by the sizing of the riding pullover. The line indicating where the length is measured from stars and the collar and goes down to the ribbing. But in the picture The collar looks like it is at the same height as the shoulder which obviously, it would normally not be. So im debating on whether to get XXL (37") or XL (35"). 37 would be the perfect length if i was measuring from the shoulder and 35 would be good if it was from the collar. If i got the XXL and it was too big do you think i would be able to shrink it?
 
I really can't decide if I like the Zissou pant or the Mcfly's better... Ordered Zissou but thinking of changing that. Could anyone do a good photoshop of each with a murda mystery jacket? I will love them forever :)

if you want an all tan pant, look at the north face or patagonia or something. they definitely make one and they're probably even better quality/tech than Saga.

The Saga feature at Windells was sick. Does that go in this thread?
 
you best bet is to put on some outerwear you already have, measure it, compare that to what it says on Saga's sizing charts and compare. but if i were to make a suggestion i would say dont go medium on the pants unless you like them a little smaller.
 
Can someone give me their opinion? I'm thinking the Fatigue Jacket (Night Hawk) with either the (Safari Khaki) or (Zissou) Fatigue Pant. What would be the better match?

ehh, best fit for sure. personally, i like the colors of the 08/09 line better. royal, eggnog, ivory, purps, and tim d's custom suit look geat. that with the fit of the 09/10 line would be awesome

tim and wiley had two of them, who got the third? i know there were three but i dont know who had the other

also i thought the reason they weren't made is it would've costed too much because they were a different design than the others, and that would've meant a whole new line. not like how the anomie is the same every year, just differnt colors
 
wonder who got that XL royal suit some kid overseas was selling a month or so ago... the exchange rate busted my balls for buying it. lol
 
you just know there is gonna be that one 4-5 foot whatever kid who buys the god damn xxl jacket and rides with it down to his ankles. yeah im hatin', cuz you look gay as hell
 
Well for me, it made for a could break. Being entirely camo would be a little much! But the black kind of broke it up. But yeah this year's is cool
 
i just recently got a wiley miller pro model jacket from last year and i love itthinking with my beard i should be able to pull off the full camp too;)
 
I will buy or trade something for a pair of saga suspenders. If anybody gets a pair, please PM me and I'm sure we can work something out!
 
Sold out, literally everywhere. Dedicated a solid 3 hours for a search.

But what is the difference between Armada and Saga suspenders anyway..? Why should he "just get armada suspenders", I don't understand
 
the armada ones aren't even that legit, they'll break within a season.

arcade belts or shoelaces are the way to go.
 
They look like pretty much the same thing besides the logo on it. They should have a restock when the 2012-2013 gear goes on sale, at least I'd think.
 
mine are way legit. i used mine over 40 days this season and never had any problems with them. plus they look nicer than the saga ones imo

and there will be a restock of the armada suspenders when the new line drops. there were some in the lookbook

so they could start shipping some of the stuff in October, just depends on when the factory gets it to them. but everything will be shipped by november 15th

Just wait until you get an email from Saga then, to say that your ordered items have been shipped.

I ordered a few things during round 1 and have forgotten about them really. It'll be a nice surprise when I eventually get the shipped email!
 
couldnt tell you actual length but theyre pretty long. kutcher has been wearing his over longer sweatshirts all summer. theyve got some length in the xxl.
 
no problem, I emailed them but they havn't gotten back. Does anyone else notice that saga doesn't ever respond to emails when their live help isnt online?? It annoys me so much.
