2012-2013 Saga Thread

that's the plan. I was in class so I didn't have any kind of measuring devices. and do you mean in seam? looking for pants!

*facepalm* terrible reading comprehension on my part. medium pants would probably be okay, maybe a little baggy

baggy's fine. As long as it still looks like i have legs haha. maybe i'll bite the bullet and buy em and if they don't fit i'll just sell them off

I think you'll be fine with a medium. If they are too big, I'll see if I fit them, if I do (I should), I'll buy them

Would a large on deck be good for streetwear for a person 5'10/5'11 and athletic build? I like my stuff a bit bigger but not huge

It completely depends on what you think is too long. If I was 5'11 an L would be ok for street wear, but just at the limit. It's completely up to you.

i dont really understand the sizing chart for their pants... im looking at the anomie pants. im about 5'8" using M 686 pants that are a tad small. i dont like super baggy clothing, i wear like a 30,32 jean size. should i go large or medium for the pants?

I'm 5'9" and I wear a large and they fit perfectly; they are baggy but not super baggy. I think you should go large.

Why has none of the older stuff gone on sale yet? I've been waiting for that denim to go on sale for like 4 months now. The new sweaters are also more expensive than they used to be, the best part of saga was that it was quality and relatively cheap for clothing

To everyone that thought saga online store wouldnt have sales anymore "As far as the differences between the Saga Online Store and local

retailers, our Online Store will always have exclusive offerings." from https://www.newschoolers.com/readnews/5298.0/A-Family-Saga

Ok, I'm 5'10/5'11 and around 170 lbs, so decently built (33 waist)... L or xl pants? I want them pretty baggy because I will really only be using them for park

Weird tip, but i find the best way to clean stains or dirty spots off my saga, is to use baby wipes. It gets rid of nearly everything.

i dont think it means actual sales though. it will be things like exclusive pieces (see the shirt line that dropped like last week) or maybe like combo deals (get all three hats for the price of two)

exactly. Presales were awful for them this year. guaranteed. Statements like online store exclusives mean nothing. Fuck a free shipping or some suspenders. They upped prices, and the designs/colorways are absolute garbage. Just watch as Saga falls off and all the old stuff comes into demand.....

exactly, online exclusive offerings are shit like free shipping and other lame shit people don't want. Not 60% off, or the chance to get gear closer to cost. LOL if you're dumb enough to fall for this bullshit.

It already is coming into demand. I'm seeing more wtb threads for 09/10 gear than ever, and kinda beat pieces are getting decent prices (or more than a old jacket should)

Because they are professionally run company that soley (spelling?) focuses on making high quality outerwear for boarders and freeskiers who ride back country and park. They have focused in on the perfect fit, many different lines of gear and making everything look steezy as hell. Apart from that they have also assembled a fantastic team of skiers and snowboarders to represent their team, whether it's Tim, Wiley, steve (hahhah), keefer or barnes they all fucking slay and rep the brand well. Also people like that they are not a huge brand like Spyder or Oakley that tons of people have so you can identify true freeskiers and boarders by their Saga. SO overall saga is a down to earth company of layed back guys and girls who's main goal is to put out a killer like of gear for the winter and summer instead of cranking out lame lowlevel gear to just make money like many other big name companies in the ski industry.
that is all, keep doin' what your doin' Saga!\\

I hope that answered your question

on a side note-I WANT MY SAGA!!!!!

do you have to use your university email to be added to the list, or just send them the email address? Because I know my uni email but I don't know how to get in.

I'm sorry but no. I'm a senior in high school so I understand what you mean, but most high school students rely on their parents and college students don't so that's why it's for college students

"The Saga U program is a solution for college students wishing they had new gear, without cutting too much into the party budget. Saga U is easy to sign up for (only a college email address required) and all college students are welcome, world wide. Simply submit an email to college@sagaouterwear.com with your university email address for entry, easy as that. No spam, no strings, just a deal we wish we had in college."

Basically. If you are in a college or University somewhere on this planet, send Saga your email address which is used at said placement of education and you can purchase goods from them at some kind of discounted price...

How hard is it to work out or read at your own pleasure?

How much is the discount? I submitted my university email on the website, and it only signed me up for the newsletter. And I emailed the college@sagaouterwear.com and never got a response.
