2011 SPK pros

Oppurtunity has arisen to buy a pair from a friend. How would you rate these? As far as comfortability goes

Granted, I've never tried Full Tilts (since everyone raves about how comfortable they are and how well they fit out of the box), but between my several other pairs of boots (2 salomon, technica, nordica, atomic), the SPK Pro is by far the most comfortable boot I've ever used.

Only thing is they have a pretty wide footbed, so if you have a skinny foot they might not be your best choice.

Id go with the SPK's. im not saying tht they are but i think some fulltilts seem really cheap, the spk feels like a great quality boot on ur foot and in ur hand.

They are a great boot. But they'll be worthless if you don't have the right foot for them. The SPK's have a wide forefoot and a high arch if I remember correctly. You can correct the high arch somewhat with custom insoles but the real question is whether or not they'll fit your foot. See if your local bootfitter will help you out.

I can't talk for the pros but I have the spk 90 and they are super comfy. Shin bang is not a problem. Make sure to get them heat molded, they will fit a lot better.

If they fit you they are one of the best park boots.

They have a wide forefoot, but a tight heel and a low instep. If you have a very high arch and high instep you may struggle.

Go try some on with a bootfitter and see what he thinks about them on your foot.

Genrally though, try not to get second hand boots unless they are pretty much unused. You only get about 150 days from a liner so if they have done a full season, you may not get that much more out of the liner.
