Where do you ski? (East, West etc.)

What kind of skiing do you do? (Backcountry, park, race, waterskis etc.)

How long have you been skiing for?

Just tell us exactly what kind of skis you want in order to satisfy your needs.

Alright sounds good.

Do you spend more time on jumps or rails? Would you rather have a directional or symmetrical ski? Do you want a pair with a soft or stiff flex?

I you want a symmetrical ski look into the atomic punx and the line afterbangs.

I you want an asymmetrical ski look into the t-halls and the liberty lte.

The suspects are stiff and based on other people's reviews, they aren't all that durable.

I've heard that the reno jibs have soften up since last year but I'm not sure if I can consider them soft.

probably the ar7, k2 domain, rossignol s4, or Liberty LTEs will be good for you. you basically cant go wrong with any of those skis. all close to the same price, $500. look them up, read about them, and figure out what youre looking for. a good size for you will be around 168-172

Maybe.

I've got '11 Rockers that I was using this summer and I found them way too soft for me (but I'm over double your weight). Super easy to butter but just not enough support on landings for my size. They also feel shorter than thier length(due to rocker). Last years rockers were much stiffer. While this wasn't great for me it may be perfect for you.

AR7s would be too stiff for you. They feel a bit stiffer than Pipe Cleaners and would be too stiff for somebody of your weight IMO. Same goes for the Suspects.

The Salomon 2012 is softer which might make it worth looking at too. Rocker in the tip and tail would probably make the 2012 or Rocker work really well as a pow ski for you too.

Forget 2011, get the 2012 Salomon Perma Bangs....."sickest ski on the market"-evogear.com

Ive had the opportunity to get a several pair of skis at half price at my school. I ordered the halo's with FKS 18's, I am super stoked. I can recommend the Völkl walls, Armada t-halls, ar7s, halo's and the rossignol S4.

highly recommend the afterbangs and if you need to know anything about them,https://www.newschoolers.com/ns/forums/readthread/thread_id/521977/^ tell you everything you need to know

check out the new k2's

the rocker profile seems pretty cool, i hear domains are pretty sweet( symetrical and soft w/ jib rocker)

does anyone think that a sidecut radius of 44.7 on the salomon czar is absolutely ridiculous? it makes a u-turn like a goddamn semi!

so if you weigh 90-95lbs, then the suspects, ar7's and no times(if they are anything like this year's nine life) would be way to stiff for you. Sf bacons would probably be overkill for the east coast pow, and would not be the best choice durability wise for east coast parks. I'm assuming that by "east coast freestyle" you mean a lot of rails and boxes, and a few small jumps, so for you, I would recommend trying to find some old invaders from b/s/t, line afterbangs, or maybe even t-halls. If you were to look into a rockered park ski that could offset some of the stiffness, so you could still butter around. I would be looking at ski lengths of 160+ if you don't want to make a big jump in ski size.

Line Afterbangs ($359.95): http://lineskis.com/skis/afterbang

Armada T-Halls ($549.95): http://armadaskis.com/product/skis/thall/

Hope that helps
