2011 Salomon

So the other night at Triple threat my friend won some Salomon Mai Tais and owed me a favor (I gave him a 2011 rome snowboard cause he boards) so he gave me the skis in place.

Are the Mai Tais the same skis as suspects but just different graffics? and is there anyway I could exchange the skis for suspects possibly? I wanted to email Salomon about this and not post on NS but jeez they're so damn hard to find an email for.
 
No - women's ski have very different flexes and cores, they're not built to stand up to a males body type (keep in mind, most of the time a women that looks the same as a man as far as height and build goes, is usally 10-20lbs lighter). A friend of mine tried to ride so women's skis as his first park ski and ended up with them snapping.

As far as contacting Salomon - that's tough, they don't have their contact page on their site anymore.
 
sell them on here for like 50-100 below retail and buy legit skis cause salomon isnt legit

I only weigh like 119 pounds so im not too worried about weight. I think ill probably try and sell them.

and goddamn i've been searching for an email for salomon for like 2 hours now and nothing.
 
i would either sell them and buy skis that you won't get shit for, or keep them for backyard/screwing around or something like that
 
i do like salomon though which is the problem cause if this is the same ski as the suspect i might just keep them and paint them, i'll go for selling them first though.
 
haha okay i think enough votes say to sell. first i will see if I can trade them in though.

where should I even sell? does NS want girls skis?
 
Do you know how many idiots with money buy gear off Seattle's craigslist? Post them there for much more than you do on NS and then you have room for negotiations.
 
haha sorry guys I happen to actually like suspects cause i'm so damn light that they never break. my first ones are still alive.
 
i know peoples who have them, they used them a whole season and they are still fine. and then again, i saw 2 pairs of suspects get their edges ripped out at coc this summer... but arnt salomon skis made in a different factory now?
 
I think jakes gonna hook me up with his pipe cleaners for super cheap so that's probably what i'll get.

I demoed the 2012's, only for a day, but at the end of the day i was ready for my suspects again cause the 2012 were too fat and heavy for me as a park ski cause the just were too hard to control. but i might try and get them to try them out more i dunno yet.
 
just my opinion personally. I've never skied ON3P, but i wana try some (if thats what your gettin at haha)

but really, do they make any blue steeles in my size?

yeah dude he finally got a major hookup. free pow skis, park skis, outerwear, 5 teas, hats, team sweatshirt, poles, errything.
 
i was meaning that you weren't able to ski the rockers

what size sticks do you ride? 171 BSs are rockered
 
most definitely, he's sends so hard.

thomas-yeah I hope to try a pair of those out this year. i tried the 2012 171 so i'll hopefully see a difference.
