2011 Lethal Decent

i have a feeling we will get this from them tomorrow, " our stuff still has not arrived, it is at customs, we will ship next week" ha.
 
ok so i have emailed ld a few times now about an order change and have gotten no answers... whats going on? i dont want you to ship me the wrong pants. is there another address i can email?

An update on product (an unfortunately not a good one): The gear is still under customs inspection in California. At this point we are not going to speculate as to when it will clear, it could be this afternoon or it could be in 2 weeks. There is no way of knowing and no way to speed up the process; we are at the mercy of the US government. It has already been delayed 2 days past what we were expecting (+3 days shipping is how we got the initial best case scenario of shipping the 10-13th). We will keep everyone informed as we get updates but this is the latest that we have.

IMPORTANT: Once the gear is on the truck, every pre-order customer will get a pre-shipping email with a run down of the process along with a "thank you for your patience" gift. Sending us hundreds of emails will not speed up the process, it will only make it more difficult for us to do our jobs. As always though, we will respond to every email so if you have questions/comments feel free to send them our way.

Again, we would like to thank all of our pre-order customers for hanging on during these delays, we are already taking steps to insure this doesn't happen in the future. We truly appreciate the support, we wouldn't be anywhere without our customers!

gotta vouch for LDC here. Had some problems with my hoodie, just sent it back in and looks like i'll get a replacement sent out pretty soon, and my shipping was refunded within 2 hours of me sending out the hoodie! can't imagine they aren't doing all they can to get out outerwear too so don't get too worried!
 
All I got was a paypal receipt (which comes automatically when you use your paypal account to order anything). I wouldn't worry about it.
 
Ok so I spoke briefly with our broker yesterday. It looks like it will clear customs and then be on a truck sometime tomorrow (Thursday). From there it will be three-four days in transit (Friday, Monday, Tuesday, and potentially Wednesday). So it looks like we will be able to begin shipping sometime next week, hopefully Tuesday or Wednesday. Once we know for sure we will let everyone know!

I apologize if I has taken me a day or two to get back to any emails, I'm neck deep in finals week and am very short on time, thanks for understanding!

 
Surely with it being the holiday season and loads of people depending on getting their gear in time for their holidays, you could find a courier who will transport the stock to you OVER the weekend? Personally, it hardly seems like a time to miss two potential days of business.
 
Not necessarily, lots of couriers operate weekend services. Granted, they charge more for them, but this seems to be the sort of case where that cost is justified, to preserve customer faith in the brand.
