Few questions. Know its still early meaning no one should really know anything about either ski, but I just need some rumors. What ski is better? What ski is stiffer? What ski would be better for a bigger skiier? What ski would be better for drops and trees? Thanks ns.

id go with ep's. poppier, softer, and just more fun. but if your a bigger rider then maybe hellbents would be good. both are pretty good for trees and drops. they are realy big ski's so not the most nimble. but for drops they both are awesome. with ep's you can land centered and let the rocker/soft tip rise out. ive landed forward on big drops into powder and the tips flex enough to pop you back out its really awesome. hellbents are the same way, but they dont it quite as well, though they stomp gnarlier stuff better, especially since you can ride on the tails a little more than the ep's.ep's are extremely playful, its like riding a fluffy park with them. hellbents just ski powder really well and are a little better for charging. so depends what you wanna do.

Both skis are buttery and good for fooling around on, although if you actually want to ski they are fucking worthless. Don't waste your time and get a man's ski.

I have skied both and own a pair of hell bents. I personally like the hell bents better, they're a little stiffer (when I say stiffer they are still pretty lose) and can get you in and out of sketchy situations better. I think the EP's are just too buttery like it feels like theres nothing to support you especially in the tip. I charge pretty hard on big pow days, pushing hard on the front of my skis and the way the hell bents lift just to the top of the snow is amazing.
If you ski K2 skis, the hell bents will ski just like them, have the same feel, turn initiation and everything will feel like the seths or fujas.
The main difference I see is that the hellbents have a more damped springy-ness to them where as the EP's are a little floppier.. Keep in mind these are the 2010's, but not much will change next year.

While i cant imagine the EPs as a stiff ski Ive heard rumors that it is going to be a little stiffer for next year, though probably not much. Personally I'd just go get a stiffer ski, ON3P caylors maybe?

Changed for next winter. Other than that, no.

Hellbents are really fun skis for skiing deep, untracked pow. But for anything else (Ala conditions you would find in a resort) there are better options. The things I didn't like about bents were how soft and heavy they are. ON3P Caylors are hellbents which fixed those two shortcomings. Think about where the people who designed EP's and Bents ski- Who cares about versatility when you get to ski those kind of conditions so often.

I skied my hell bents 8-10 times last year out in WA when we were having those 100in weeks... even in the resort they are pretty awesome... Other than that I can handle any day on my seths even 20+ they do really well

no . while i enjoy messing around more than charging, ive skiied both very hard, and they do fine, hellbents are a little better for charging. but both are fine. they just need to be skiied differently than a stiff ski. they both do such a great job always keeping you floating. only time i felt the softness really be a bad thing was in very choppy stuff. but that always sucks to ski. just watch the nimbus movies/edits, they charge as hard or harder than anyone on here could.
now if you were a big person, like over 200 then i could see them just not being enough ski. but for me being 150. i hardly ever wish i had something stiff even when charging.

you probably already know, but the EP pros are a tad bit stiffer than the 2010 model...
but still softer than the bents...

Not true.Sean used the Seths at the Red Bull Cold Rush.

Also, a ski with a medium flex, like the Fat-ypus I-Rock, would be a much better option than either the Hellbent or EP Pro. It would still be playful, but would be useable in crud and could take you back to the lift.Just my 2 cents.
