2011 K2 Hellbent handling?

I'm looking at a pair of 2011 Hellbents, and I was hoping for some insight on how these guys handle on regular, not so powder graced runs. Are they strictly pow or can the manage on groomers as well? I did some research and couldn't find any definitive answers, so I figured I'd turn to the experts: you guys!

Any help is +k as usual.

i have the 2010 hellbents and feel the exact same way, super fun ski but suck in anything but powder

i mean you CAN ski them on groomers but they wouldnt be great. ive ridden worse though

i really like mine on groomers, so big and floppy. i think its all about the skier, if you are a strong skier you can take em anywhere. they arent going to perform as well on groomers as an all mountain ski but they can do it.

I have skied hellbent, the older one with smaller dimensions and I would ski them every day at Revy.

My roommate have a pair of 2010 in 189cm and he love them, he ski with them from chop to deep pow to groomers. He's a strong skier tought and more freestyling background. He's selling his Eldorado and Arg because he prefer the bent's everywhere.

I would say try them in every possible condition if you can.

yea i have 2012 189 and i love skiing them everywhere. If you are a strong skier you will be able to do so. Also skiing them on groomers is just fun there so soft. It just changes things up from the regular.

To you guys saying strong skier, do you mean a strong skier as in has been skiing for a time and is good, or physically strong as in has strong legs? Or both maybe?

I believe they mean in both senses, since it is a lot of ski to be throwing around, so if you have a lot of experience and you're physically strong then I believe you could use them.

im not very big and i handle em just fine. Im 5'8 140 lbs and skis the 2010 179s at -1

They will take you a few runs to figure out but after that theyre no problem, even if youre a little guy

I ski everywhere got second place in men's open slopestyle the other day against 3 kids sonsored by moment and a kid sponsored by line skis and I was on 189 2011 hell bents and the next day got third in skier cross I love them they slay
