2011 gear

Those look kinda lame. not gonna lie. I guess I still like the almost completely covered boot look.

I am working on a pic of next years Elan Puzzlemakers. might be able to get them by next week.
 
I'm not saying they are 100% the Step Ups, and I am purely just speculating. Just noticed there seemed to be a slight difference which of course could be the picture deceiving my eyes. But I could see them use the same graphic as the A-bang to simply cover up the identity of a ski with the same tech as the A-bang but with wider dimensions. Overall, I didn't want it to seem like I was jumping to conclusions that I felt I was 100% right and accurate on. Just was trying to look for differences but they are most likely just Afterbangs.

you can see it in the tips and you can see a thin line, and 2 drops of blood next to each other..

I looked at the eps again and really dont like the graphics, to bad that hoodie is over the bacons..(guess)

i agree. i think what makes the hellbent so sick is the black/white/red graphic year after year.
i was planning on picking this ski up next year but im really bummed bcuz it looks like shit.
 
Sorry for double post. But did anyone notice the dimensions (115-88-115) of the Step Up are the same as the A-Bang, but they have this "Double Carbon Ollie Band" in them? Of course, they also come in longer length sizes also but are just going to be a stiffer version of the A-bang. Thought it would be closely similar to the dimensions of the Anthem. Either way, they still look badass.
 
On the line and the mastermind it says that they have an extruded base, what does that mean.

btw loving the new lines hopefully going to get some cryptonites next year.
 
Yeah thats nice, but Blends (looking really sick!) only come in 183.. would have hoped for 187ish..
 
Step ups in 184, cyrptos in 183. They increased the lengths a little. Afterbang shorty and a mini ep. Sounds sick. the shorty afterbangs have the same sidecut as the real ones. haha
 
Im not too happy about the line graphics that were shown. Kind of dull and not fun which is not right because the sport is fun and has a very bright future. Infact all of the graphics I've seen so far are pretty lame other than the moments. The rocker base graphic looked bad ass and the night train looked sick. Also the Reno jibs look wide as fuck in that picture. Any news? I know they widened it a lot from the 08/09 to 09/10. But are they widening it even more? I already comitted to Reno jibs next season and I'm super stoked to ride them next year.
 
Lines graphics look alright IMO.Some of the new dimensions look nice for people my size.I'd consider picking up a pair if my Anthems from last year didn't self destruct after one season and then have Line completely ignore my cry for a warranty.
 
i have this years anthems and lets just say ill be sticking with line.

But some of those graphics are terrible. Stepup..what were they thinking.
 
Yeah the only one I care for is the one on the blend. But i live in a no pow situation and blends would be useless. Also why in hell would they keep a similar graphic on the after bang? I personally think they look really dumb.
 
Well, I was happy all throughout my first season on them too. It was the beginning of this season that the edge in my tail, a place where the ski takes no abuse what so ever and rarely even contacts the snow, blew the fuck out. And the ski breaking isn't even my problem. I know shit happens. Not like it's the first pair of skis I've destroyed. It's the fact that TONS of other people have had this same problem with their tails (where Line joins their edges) blowing out and Line hasn't done a thing about it. They weren't even willing to give me a discount on a new pair of skis.
And as far as the graphics, I couldn't agree more. The Step Up looks like a mix of shitty tribal tattoos, the Volkl Wall graphic from last year, and some Van Halen cover art. Personally I hate it.
Also I hate the Afterbang graphic. Wasn't a huge fan of it last year and it really irritates me when companies basically re-run the previous years graphics with just small changes. COUGH*Hellbent*COUGH.
 
IMO Line failed graphic wise this year. The only Line graphic I like is the blend. the Chronic K is ok. All the other skis have pretty ugly graphics. (e.g. the Step Ups, it looks like it tried to be hideous)

i am really confused. i zoomed in on the step up dimmensions and they are the same as the a-bangs? are they the same ski but just a different flex.
