2011/2012 Gear

that base isnt die cut is it? its just a graphic under a clear base layer. theres no way they die cut that...

I think they look alright, better than the last 2 years anyway... since the worst of the graphic is under the boot...
I'm looking for a very soft park ski... I demoed Abangs and thought they were fun, also considering Joystick These or any other suggestions... I'm coming from Lizzies so looking for that kind of flex...

I'd really only say this about the park skis, I have yet to hear bad things about the pow/all mtn skis. my 2010 watch lifes are holding up super fucking strong after heavy use

Depends on what you consider normal use. They way I "normally use" my pow or all mountain skis is way more likely to break than the way I "normally use" my park skis.

It's hard to say that park is "normal use" for any ski. Skis were never built to be beat on the way that park beats on skis. That doesn't mean though, that manufacturers should not do the very best to make a durable ski, but most are doing that already.
Next year's No Times have a redesigned core, using a couple different woods, keeping it light, but hopefully strengthening them.
But until some sort of new, adamantium core ski comes out that will never break ever, I think broken skis will just be a part of park skiing that we will all have to live with.

I do already have the bents (since january), slightly stiffer tail than on the 2011!

LOL I didn't know a 14 din was a children's binding Charlie.... And don't tell me that it's because of the toe piece. I have sth 12's with the non oversized z toe and don't have any issues.

Take it from someone who skied surfaces with fks's and then got anthems with px's. I didnt notice any difference after about 3 runs.

To each to there own i guess.

take it from someone who skis 191 C&D with 916s, weight doesn't matter. Grow some balls and go to the gym you pussy

Its alright to like light skis, but saying heavy skis hold you down makes no sense.

We are only talking about maximum 1-2.5 lbs.
