2011/2012 Gear

i honestly hate posts like this. who gives a shit? they are putting money into our sport. If they want those goggles, they can buy those goggles. there are of plenty of other reasons to buy them than to be "cool". I spent well over 150 on my goggles.
as much as i hate to say it, and how impossible it is to prove, and how much people will fight back from it without ever agreeing, posts like this just come down to jealousy.
I rant a whole fucking lot these days....

Aaron it's like used cars. Someone has to be the rich person and buy the shit at expensive retail. then we come along and buy that stuff used later on. Its a fucking cycle. Used crowbar frame just don't pop out of peoples asses.

Prepare for your mind to be blown......

Or maybe some people don't want to wear a goggle that some greasy kid has had on there face for god knows how many days.

Some people buy shit and use it till it's beat. Most normal people don't spend all day trend whoring and trading there stuff.

I think the idea, as per this picture, and numerous reports I have read, is as follows.

In powder, a reverse reverse ski is ideal. It give the user amazing control, maneuverability, and all but eliminates hooking. (ARG, Donner Party, Spatula, Lotus, etc). But in order to facilitate the ride back to the chair, or hard snow, they added "cleats" which from what I have heard work very well. But... they couldn't do with just that... But they took it a step further and added the "boat hull?" aspect, where the edges are raised up.

Honestly this is probably the biggest ski design progression since plastic bases, or maybe metal edges? Who knows... I am getting some.

No but you clearly are. You asked a question:
"And one thing I keep wondering, why is Tanner's pro model still a park ski?"
I gave you the answer:"Because Tanner makes more money if his pro model is a park ski, because park skis sell better"You seem to be having some difficulty comprehending this.

i think he understands that tanner would make more money, but he doesnt ski park anymore. so how is he going to come up with ideas for a park ski? hes saying tanner skis pow, im sure he thinks about powder ski design far more often.

Yep.

Stuff this year offered in 20k, 10k, and 5k breathability/waterproofing. Color schemes are red, gray, and black. Gone are the skittles. The 20k jacket has all the bells and whistles and the 15k has removable sleeves. The 5k is more like a track jacket.

Those collors are not all like this jacket right?

I hope the 20k and 15k dont have magnets in them..doesnt work wll with beacons..

Can we expect more photo's/news from you? Thanks in advance ;-)

Based on my own personal experience, 191 Wrens are better in every way than the 195cm Super 7's. I was able to get a set of Super 7's early fall last year and rode them all year until I sold them for a pair of 191 Wrens.

In my opinion, the Super 7's do not live up to the hype. The Wrens however, definitely do, and then some.

Oh my god Line is actually making new innovations in poles! Who knew that was possible?

Good thing I'm in the market for some poles so those are on my list for next year.

I had them posted for sale, but came to my senses and decided to keep them after all. I am mixing up my quiver and may throw some quiver killers on the wrens for fks and dukes for versatility.
