this concept came out this year in the Overload and the Live Fit series. There are soft PU (shell plastic) inserts on the inside and outside of the foot that easily adapt to your foot in those areas. And since it is PU, you can stretch or grind around the perimeter of the zone if you need to.

Andreas Hatveit has been skiing in the boot for over a year and is really stoked on it. Too wide for me, but if you have a wider foot you should try this on, it's pretty crazy.
 
I was wondering what armada skis those were. I had no idea those were next years. I saw some kid riding them along with some outerwear from next year.
 
that doesn't mean anything, no one has said its not a new shape, but it is, through and through a surface ski.

The JJ was a totally different ski from anything armada had before they released it. Does that make it any less of an Armada ski?

no we can't, surface and joystick both my horrible products, why would combining them make anything better?
 
I like their products. I think its cool. It is my opinion. I am entilted to one, right? You don't have to like it if you choose. I understand. I am anticipated to see how this plays out. I haven't really heard of a minishred type of ski at all besides the afterbang.
 
indeed the live fit series is super wide, this year was our first year carrying ur boots in our shop, and i wa slovin the hawk series, sold a fuck ton of the 90's and sold out of the 80's over a month ago. The whole "adapting to your foot" now is that just that soft rubbery material on the outside of the boot? that really will only stretch a little if ur foot is super fucking wide, so its not like its guna adapt to any persons foot. But thats one of my go to boots for ppl with wide ass feet, and are over weight and novice skiers, granted its a soft boot, but the two buckle design and wide fit and high instep makes over weight people love it.
 
True it won't shrink to a smaller shape, but it will automatically accommodate a foot wider than 102mm and up to at least 106 (it can go wider). Just run your finger over it. It moves without any pressure whatsoever. The material is just a softer version of the shell, so it's actually plastic, not rubber. And because the Live Fit piece is plastic, when we put it in the injection mold it fully becomes a part of the boot. So it will never separate or leak.
 
I still like this year's better, but those are sick too. I'm not really digging next year's T-Hall's. Too much rasta.
 
Atomic has their stuff on point! Literally the only complaint I have about my 10/11 Volts is that they're a little rough on the back of my heels during landings.

Please tell me the 11/12 model still has the lace up liner?
 
Well its T-hall. What do you expect? I'd rather have it rasta with lions than some weird crypt kind of looking shit as a topsheet. The T-halls are dope. The halos are fucking sick. They need to bring those back nextt year.
 
T-halls for the 2011/2012 have already been posted in this thread. As far as I know, I have no clue if they're going to be halos next year.
 
No, it will fucking suck. 171cm of shot materials put together poorly.

Who the fuck wants a 171cm (unless your a midget) ski, that is symmetrical and comes with auto-delam technology. I have yet to see a well built surface or joystick product.

people need to look at this thread more often. there are way too many individual threads about stuff that is posted in here. but what is worse is that they get like 50 comments like woah that's sick!
