He rides some custom SFB's? In an earlier edit he had an other pair of customs with black and red trees on it.. But I think they are not next years graphics..just some special made pairs for Eric..
He does has next years EP Pro Dakine bakcpack on.. All black/red/white..
next years graphics man, pollard doesn't ride custom graphics, even prototyping skis, he'll run a current topsheet on it so its harder to tell what he's riding.
that said, next years stuff, fucking awesome. totally dialed
I heard from a reliable source that pollard might be make some big hanges in the EP Pro over the next few seasons. Possible changes include camber under foot, more stiffness, and maybe more lengths.
It's actually a good move on their part. They have a good name to sell Ski's in EP. The problem is there aren't a whole lot of people looking for a big floppy donkey dick that is fully rockered. It's to niche.
"No it's not a new version Rocker 2 nor a replacement of the Rocker 2. It's an entirely different ski that was tested in Whistler last weekend by the team. No plans for production as of yet, just testing shapes and such." - Alkasqualik (TGR - Salomon Pro Athlete)
Also - I am not sure if this was covered already, but since Helly Hansen dropped all of their athletes over the summer, it appears as if Abma is using Salomon outerwear now too.
FYI Helly dropped their team because they are looking to sell themselves as a company. A company without an extensive team payroll looks much more profitable, even if it is only for the short term (as the team is basically advertising, results won't be noticed for at least a couple quarters).
Yes, you're right, I had heard that - my mistake for neglecting that piece of info. No hate towards HH, I love my Convergent setup from them 5 years old now and still as good as the day I bought em.
