2011/2012 Gear

To be honest, the new Armada stuff is... Lackluster? Their skis are pretty much the same, and the clothing stopped being cool when they abandon eVent.

I'd have to agree, there were one or two jackets that I might consider, but for the most part the just looked unoriginal or over the top, same with the ski's. But hey, design isn't everything. The layering looked nice though.

so the pro model has gone down from a 110 flex to a 100, looks like i need to look elsewhere for new boots, bummer cuz the spks fit me well

The SPK Pro is actually getting stiffer, its going to 120 as far as I know, its surprising they have soften the kaos but I guess it makes it more of a jib boot in the kaos and a pipe and kicker boot of the pro. The 75 and 85 will be good for woman too if they dont want a stiff boot like the koas. Hopefully they make them small.

saw some proto rossis briefly today. looked like a fatter s7 with a longer rocker and a low profile gotama-esque tip. 12/13?

4frnt switchblades look pretty cool but does anyone have info on them? also the line afterbangs 166 graphic with the tiger is sick

I don't need evidence to say that I don't like armada's. I just do not like them in any way. Dislike the flex, dislike the sidecuts, don't trust thin edges, and I have seen way too many binding pullouts.

My teacher got 2012/2013's Ross skis bout a month ago, sickest skis ive seen. Going to cost bout 2000 dollars though!

so much lense, i like the looks of the EG2 better, but it's about time someone came out with something to compete with the EG2.

So I saw the new drop kicks and abangs this weekend. the drop kicks look super sick, and the afterbangs are awesome looking (IMO) in person. /useless info

i'm pretty sure my friend that works at a shop said they're $225 USD, i think they're ugly as fuck anyways.

225 sounds about right. they are a way uglier version of the splice, and the technology isn't even that revolutionary, (smith i/os derp)
i'll stick to my EG2s
