pretty psyched on these. i've tried em on n theyre comfy. plus i felt like they had a better field of vision than the splices

first off let me start out by saying that you are really, really mad.

and as a matter of fact i have ridden the 2012's. and i do agree they are a sick ski if you are 500 feet away from any rail/box/jib. salomon uses the same shitty construction for the 2012 as the suspect and every other park ski, thus making it the same shitty durability. never said there was anything wrong with their bases, i said its the same shitty durability ski with a different design for the topsheet and bases.

and clearly you know nothing as you think the suspect is the only non durable ski to come from salomon? yeah suspects are shit durability (3 seasons of the same problem) but so are other skis like the dumonts.

the thalls are sicker in person saw some amateur riders rockin them at breck the other day, not sure what the bases look like though

I've ridden mine tons so far this year, and the only problem I have is a small coreshot underfoot from a super sharp rock I hit that couldve done way worse damage. Theres not even an edge crack compared to my friends brand new K2's, which had 2 after a week along with some nasty coreshots. I'm not saying K2 is bad quality because my friend had bad luck with his, but I think it's stupid how people hate on Salomon because of the problems they had with one ski. People probably had problems with durability on the Dumont because its the same ski as the suspect, just stiffer and with double edge armor. Any other ski they've made you haven't heard anything bad about, and it wasnt until people had trouble with the suspectss that they got a bad rep. I hope people can get over it and accept that suspects are shitty skis, but the rest of the Salomon line isnt, some of there stuff for next year looks crazy sick

Salomon make great ski, but suspect are not very durable. Its my third season on my dumont ( cap one ) and i love them ( no homo )

New bacons have the classic striped line base, but it is rasta colored. The a-bangs have the same topsheet theme, but it covers most of the ski and is a lot better. Opus has the rising sun base. New pin poles are rasta striped.

Well thats because the bigger companies want a lot of people to like it.. Thats why Surface has the Live Life and Watch Life also with different topsheets..(Free series) For the people who dont like screamy graphics..

Just wait till the smaller companies show their stuff at SIA, they will have things you like..
