2011/12 Opening Day Thread

you guys need to quit your bitching the park is dope. yeah the dfd box is super steep but its still better than not having a new box not to mention the two other new boxes and the battle ship rail is setup for the first time in two years woot woot
 
wow, not a single fuck is given about the park comp/booter. they have been making snow about 3 days this week and never once blew on morningstar. funniest part is they promote the shit out of it, but cant put effort into making it good.

hasnt it always been like this? the parks have always gotten the short end of the snow making stick. atleast they were able to get some new boxes for us this year though. "big air" this weekend will prolly end up being on that last jump in the big parks jump line. that is if they even do big air. prolly will just end up being a rail jam though. but hey, its better than nothing and we should be greatful they even do something for us. my .02
 
well, i can safely say that i have been proven wrong.

according to bristol's facebook, there is a "booter" that was built today.

My guess is weekend of March 31st. Then again I could see Danny just cutting the cord the day he gets to 100.
 
well fuck. big park just closed..... fuck my life. i have been out for 3 weeks with a broken heel and as soon as i can ski, they close it.

but on facebook they said there was one box and 5 jumps... idk why they couldnt take out a jump or 2 and keep the rails
 
so i take it they are probably going to close after their little spring carnival this weekend? becasue its going to be 70 thursday...
 
well, looks like all of us with executive passes will be getting a refund lol. hooray! no way in hell they can stay open untul tuesday judging by the forcast
 
the refund is based off the percentage of 100 days that they missed. in this case they may get 98 days, therefore 2%. take the $600 you paid and they will refund 2% of that.

12 DOLLARS FUCK YEA!
 
did you honestly think that they would give you back all the money even if they miss 2 days that you might not have gone on? that would be the stupidest thing in the world to refund the pass even tho they skied with it all year.

haha honestly i don't even know how they managed to stay open these last 3 or 4 days. shows what a joke the 100 day guarantee is. danny would have brought truckloads of snow just to keep the chairs spinning for the 100 count
