2011/12 Opening Day Thread

i realize that, i would say something like i left my cell phone or hat or something up there the day before and i needed to get it but didn't want to pay for a pass OR just hike up a trail that isn't open or doesn't have snow
 
i don't see why they wouldn't unless they just plan on blowing a ton of snow tonight and putting all effort into that and not grooming. in that case...east coast pow day

At the bottom of infinity they have the mini rainbow and 8 foot flat. At the top of lower rocket they have the kink box and the 15 foot flat rail. Shitss dooooooope sauce with fries
 
4 features at the bottom of shooting star. tomorrow/this whole week is going to be crowded, really not looking forward to that
 
Go skiing in Vermont and buy some fries then you won't be complaining...

and jea, today was sick. So much shit going down. Can't wait till they get the park open so it won't be so damn crowded.

 
i dont mind the crowds to be honest cuz the atmosphere around everyone hiking a couple rails is always so much fun. everyones sharing the stoke and shit so its always a good time. the group of gapers that decided to sit between the flat rail and kink box got annoying at times for sure though
 
today was fun, spring like conditions in january isn't always a bad thing. they set up the C box after the bigger jump in the mini park. not too bad.
 
almost got my pass cut today. i was hauling ass out of the park and went to hit a side booter on the left. like 10 feet away from it i realized ski patrol was standing right beside it... and i tried to avoid him and just go off of the jump, but then ski patrol jabbed his pole right in the middle of the jump, i hooked my ski on it, flew into another patroler and landed on his skis, which made me catch and edge and knock a girl over.

then the patrol comes down, screaming his ass off, saying im never gonna be allowed back, he was sooo fucking pissed! i start yelling at him about how i could not see the guy and he tripped me, but him being an ignorant asshole, wouldn't listen. and he paid no attention to the girl i knocked over, while im the one asking her is she's ok....

i got escorted down by like 3 patrols, and had to talk to security and told him what happened, he asked my friend also if it was true, and then put my name into the books and let me go, but said i couldn't ski in the park, so i changed my clothes and went right back up to the park...lol.
