2011/12 Opening Day Thread

well i was going to come home this weekend from school and ski, but looks like ill wait till finals are over...
 
na man, parks really nice right now. rails are a little sticky, and the jumps are a little sketchy but its chill.

na im just going into a hyper-depressive ski/snow depravation mode. i pretend good things are happening (like snow in december) just to keep from injuring myself or others.Dont know how much longer im gonna last though
 
They better actually put a rail and box up opening day instead of just having 1000000000 people ski 1 trail for 4 hours....
 
my guess is monday but who knows if the temps stay the same looks like they can make snow all day saturday. ready to go skiing woo.
 
the night time cam had me fooled too. was a little dispointed when i looked at it this morning
 
gonna stick with my prediction of tomorrow the 11th. there is no way they are blowing snow all day and night to stay closed through next week. and i dont see them opening on monday when it is going to be near 50.
 
i hate to be a negative nancy but i don't see how in anyway they can open tomorrow man. to do that they have to go from literally ZERO snow on lower rocket to a skiable base in about 24 hours. not to mention it takes lots of hours for the cats to push the snow around, the right way, in order to establish a base. monday won't be that bad though, high of 40 with a low of 25. so they can still blow that night. my guess is a late opening during the day on monday or tuesday morning.
 
sameee they have been fucking cranking since last night basicly...

and they are even making on meteor and upper galaxy, and prolly more, bu thats all i can see...
 
just being realistic...some kids think that snow guns are magic and in 24 hours bristol is 100% open. we both know it doesn't work like that haha
 
awesome. well if they open tomorrow i will be stoked but any other day this week i can ski. SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
its opening day man, the just blew the most posssible snow they could in literally a 4 day span haha what do you expect
 
where did they say that on their facebook? im pretty sure they just ignored the "suggestions" everytime one of the kids on fb posted "getz a rail and box up and a booooter!"

Bristol Mountain- Probably not tonight. I will check with the T Park Manager and see if there are any plans to put a temporary rail on Lower Rocket. No promises.

Bristol Mountain- T Park manager is going to work on getting a temp rail up but we need to be able to set it where it isn't in the flow of traffic which means we need more snow in areas where they haven't been able to get to yet. He is aware of your request.
