i had both last year!
both are great skis fer sure.
the ar6: SUPER soft nose, like insanely soft. super easy and fun to pop around and nollie. the tail is the opposite. really stiff. they had good amount of pop. pretty light. the edges never cracked, they juts got "dented" . i dont know how to explain it, they just dented in when you hit them really hard. bases were fairly slow though, and i waxed mind constantly...both of my tails got rockered though and im going to be sending them in to warranty soon. the topsheet also chips a lot.
the suspects: way stiffer than the ar6...i actually liked that. had way more pop than the ar6, better edge hold , stiffer underfoot. just all in all a great jump ski. i liked them better on rails as well, i guess the stiffness underfoot and the couple more mm of width helped out? i dont know, i was just more comfortable with them. topsheet has held up great. the bases are also faster than the ar6s, and seem to be more durable (not nearly as many scratches). they also carve better both regular and switch due to more sidecut. no damage at all yet to the suspects, theyre doing great
both skis have had around 25 days btw.
my choice would be suspects but you have to risk durability issues (yes i know i havent had any, but i know lots of people hat have)..and now with the new stiffer/ less swing weight of the ar7, i'd probably go for those
also look in to the atomic punx (ive ridden these and LOVE them), the liberty LTE's, and the on3p blue steeles.
pm me with any questions!
