"C$928 million is expected to be spent for security, of which the Anti-Gaper Squad of Canada is the lead agency"

Hahahahaha

yea what the fuck i added so much shit and it got deleted. i had under additional events

Treasure hunt (to find chads gap. this event was called off beause skiing guru hanner tall broke both of his testicles practicing for the event.

and i had some other shit but too long to type. ohh well

wait, if we actually keep putting half pipe on there for a long time and get more people to see, it could that actually affect it and somewhat encourage the inclusion of the sport into the olympics instead of just fucking with the wikipedia page. I think all that other shit, while funny, just calls attention to the page and the half-pipe will be seen just as part of the joke and not something serious, which I should be(somewhat, it's a funny joke too, but I would like to see it up there everyday, so when people read it, they see half pipe skiing and it gets more publicity out there for the sport).

Chad's Gap has only been cleared by a few snowboarders, including Travis Rice and Romain De Marchi , who completed a backside 540, switch backside 540, cab 720, a backside rodeo 720, as well as a backside 180 no grab in the snowboarding video "Pop - Absinthe". It was also cleared on snowblades in the winter of 2005, which created much respect and support within the ski industry for the upcoming sport of snowblading.

The secret location of the gap is a topic of hot debate. Most scholars now believe that it is located in the Wasatch range in Utah, in close proximity to the Alta ski resort. There are many conflicting theories regarding how to get to Chads from the bottom of Alta.

Although the gap was originally made and hit by skiers, it is now dominated by the snowboard world. Pro snowboarder Marc Frank Montoya and his acquaintences within the Mack Dawg crew protect the gap from being hit by gapers. If a skier manages to find the route from the bottom of Alta, they will inevitably be denied permission to hit the gap by the notoriously aggressive group of 'boarders.

Tanner Hall's infamous ankle break became known by skiers and boarders world wide, the hilarity ensued on Newschoolers.com when Tanner Hall said this famous quote that fateful day

Tanner: "Ow, f**k my ankles are broken!"

Anonymous Filmer: "His ankles are broken!"

Tanner: "Ahhh!"

on the chads gap page

I think we should be editing and adding to that page like hell with QUALITY content. SOOO many people are going to be visiting that site in the next month or two in response to seeing the Summer Olympics on NBC. I just added a bunch of links to the page but we should really get some members of the NS community to edit the shit out of that page making it look legit, professional, and most importantly, organized.
My wikipedia skills are limited but I added some links and fixed some grammar this morning.

Yeah thanks for editing what i put before man, i didnt think what i put was sufficient but wasnt too sure what to put, good job.

Venues

For the first time, the Winter Olympics will be held by the sea and some venues, such as the Richmond Olympic Oval, are at sea level. Also, for the first time ever the Opening Ceremony for a Winter Olympics will be held indoors.

Chads Gap

Ski patrol blew it up though...

Vancouver is also the warmest city ever to host a Winter Olympics.[22]

In February, when the Games will be held, Vancouver has an average

temperature of 4.8 degrees Celsius (40.6 degrees Fahrenheit).

Greater Vancouver
