Wondering which binding to get, as they are the same price, to put on my Talismans. Not really too much pow in the midwest, level 2-3

Cheers

The Schizo is a completely different binding that allows you to move the binding on a sliding plate to suit your needs for all-mountin and park. If i’m not mistaken I believe the sliding plate is plastic and they often crack.

If you are referring to the regular Griffons with the Attack 13’s I would choose the Attacks. I here they are a lot more durable and are less likely to prerelease.

This is just ignorant. The plastic pieces do not "often crack." In fact I think it's extremely rare. Otherwise pretty much half the mountain would be on broken bindings because Marker's entire royal line uses the same type of track for the heel piece (Schizo just has one on the toe piece as well).

That's not to say Griffons themselves are the most durable binding or can't break.

The reason to get schizos is for the capability to move the binding fore/aft 6cm, which makes a huge difference if you have a one ski quiver and ski everything from park to deep pow on them. I love my jester schizos. Skied on griffons before no problems and I am pretty tough on my gear.

IF you don't care about the ability to move the bindings position on the ski, go STH2 13s all the way. Awesome binding, very durable and great performance. Not too heavy either. Have STH2 16s on my main pair of big mountain sticks. I personally have Pivot 18s, Jesters, and STH2 16s on my skis- all work well and are durable. STH2 have the slight upperhand over pivot 18s for me because they accommodate a wide boot size range and let me swap skis with my buddies. Low stack height too
