just received mine in the mail so if you were waiting for it to come it will soon enough
 
eh it's ok not as spectacular to me because this is the first year i truly followed skiing so i had already seen most of the stuff in it on the mountain, tv or on here. still check it out if you are still wondering what to get. salomon, nordica and dynastar killed pretty hard
 
Seriously.... Freeskier gets worse and worse every year.

They blew it.

There are some dope things... but plenty of stuff that is just bad.
 
I just checked my mail box and I got it today too! yay. not bad.....just ur typical stuff. cover isn't spectacular...
 
I found it in my mailbox today too. I'm stoked to get it, but the more products that come out the less is said about anything. Lots of pictures, lots of ads. Nothing too terrible useful, but it's always fun to see new things, even if we've all seen them.

were is the night train and the planks? freeskier is just way to into salomon and the dumont. in the issue they had 3 adds with him, he was the pic behind the index, the had a page with him and his gear listed out, and they featured his suit, googles, and skis. salomon had top skis in every category, winning most of them. all of the write ups on what the editors used had salomon products in thier as well. also, they gave the anthems a 5.5 last year and this year they were the featured ski and got a 8.5, wtf? oh, and i wish the had gotten more credit. afterbangs
 
for real...i dont know why they didnt have the night train in there, i havent gotten to ride it of course but it seems like it will be way better than the garbones...and way too many salomons in there
 
I thought they would be parading around the afterbangs but they did not fare well at all i wonder if they are actually a "6.5 stoke on jumps" because I was thinking about picking some up.
 
Hmmm, that's a funny coincidence that Salomon, Nordica, and Dynastar are all huge companies that have tons of ads in Freeskier, and they all had two pairs of park skis in the top ten
Of course, I haven't ridden the Nordicas or Dynastars, so they all could be really, really bomb. But that just seems odd
 
It was just an add for the Billy Goat and the description of the ski, but that's a great start to get the name out there.
 
Did they have a review of Alphas from Armada in there? I am buying a pair, hope they are as good as everyone says!
 
Funny, there is probably a correlation between add dollars and top rated brands if they're not independent studies or surveys. I know I'm biased, but I really do think Benchetlers should be up there. They're one of the most playful, fun park skis I've skied in a while. Everyone I let use them had only good things to say as well. Oh well.
