First race of the season in Bahrain was last weekend with Alonso, Massa, and Hamilton rounding out the podium.
I'm pretty pumped to see what's gonna happen this season. F1 helps me get through the non-ski season. Anyone else on NS follow it?

i tried a f1 cult last season and 3 people including me were in it. i love it but would rather watch rolex series or lemans because f1 has become a fucking shitshow with all the new rules

Yea I agree to a point. There is too much drama in F1 sometimes, but I will always watch it just cuz I have been following it for about 6-7 years.

yep ok, my uncle who has a phd and owns his own law firm is a dumb as this hicks who watch auto racing.

Because hicks watch F1?...
Good try at being an ass. You would have been more accurate if you would have said the Eurotrash who watch it are dumb though.

the ban on refueling and making the engine last for three races is stupid, they all slow down because of it. also the freeze on engine devlopment isn't sweet.

How can you call F1 a shit show when it went down to the last race 2 of the last 3 seasons? In 2007 Raikkonen came from like six down to win it, and in 2008 Hamilton won it on the last corner of the last lap of the last race. I remember Ferrari was already celebrating before they realized Hamilton passed Glock, or whoever it was. This year looks like it might be another close year, with Ferrari, McLaren, Redbull, and Mercedes all having legitimate shots at winning the title. Personally, while I will be rooting for Vettel and Shumi, I am very disappointed "the iceman" Raikkonen went to the WRC. But still I'm excited to see how this season will pan out.

its a shit show because fia can make up rules whenever they want and give shitty teams a chance, its crap

f1 will suck more this year cause of those new rules, although there usually isnt much passing anyways.

Ill prob watch a few races if it gets better and I can wake up for them.

See the IZOD IndyCar Series first race this year on the streets of Sao Paulo. Sick race. Although shortened to a timed race cause of a red flag(bullshit IMO), it had 95 passes in 65 laps and was one of the most exciting street races I've seen in a while.
