2010-2011 UEFA Champions League

Take the ball away from Messi = yellow card

lol for real though, nobody can get close to Barca players without them falling on the ground. I hope they get some better refs soon. Dont get me wrong, Barca is a great team, they just take advantage of shit when they can, can't say I blame them, but it ruins the game

United is the best team in the world on the counter and they're solid at soaking up pressure too. Just my opinion.

Eh, I dunno, MU will play more postively than RM did, as this is a one shot deal and as long as Barca don't dive as much as they have, it could be a great game. Also, quite enjoyed reading that MU's reserves slaughtered Schalke, how bad must Inter have been to lose to them!?

Yeah although I hate United they actually played incredibly well today, wouldn't say reserves though. Hope United win, nothing I hate more than bullshit unfair play especially from a side that can do well without it. I agree with Mourinho, UEFA are far too lenient with Barcelona, and Barca haven't won a fair CL to date (stanford bridge incident).

Very bad. As a Dortmund fan, I never thought Schalke would make it that far. Glad the Brits showed them their limits.

was at old trafford last night. the schalke fans were pretty militant with all their flares generally just happy to have made it that far i think.

During the first half I could hardly hear the Utd. fans. But once Utd. scored the Schalke fans were very quiet.

Good match overall, Anderson played very well, Evra almost scored when he came on and it was great to see Fletcher playing again after his "illness".

to be honest its never really that loud. I was in the stretford end, you dont sit down and theres consistent chanting but there's a lot of corporate and journalist spots and the executive seating is pretty expansive.

So all the predictions I made on March the 19th are correct apart from Inter Milan winning from Schalke...why do I never bet....seriously....

backing barca to beat man utd.

not as thoroughly as 09, but still a dominant game. Maybe edging out by 1 or 2 goals at most.

funny how excited i am for this game even though i dont like either team....

can't wait to see wembley either. beautiful stadium...

nah, but i've got some good memories of wembley. And last time i watched a match there was an excellent night.

god i hate when Americans do any sort of commentary on football.

On the plus side, since the final is in london, most manchester utd fans don't have to drive more than 20 minutes from home.

and why the FUCK do we have to have landon donovan talking about messi? No one gives a shit what that rat face shithead has to say about anything.

I know, I'm not in love with the sport that's for sure. I'd be happier if those damn leapers would get penalized more often, but it's a very endearing sport to play and spectate when you get into it.

The better team clearly won, no one can deny this. Although, Barca got a lot of favors from the refs in previous fixtures which got them to the finals.

yeaaaah barca! iniesta, xavi, pique, villa.. those guys don't have enough space for the medals they've won in the last years
