2010-2011 UEFA Champions League

i really wish that they didnt give van pussy that red because now arsenal fans have this bullshit excuse when they were straight up dominated

they were dominated, but until the red card, they were still going through. So yea, I think that gives a pretty good reason to complain about it.

what the hell were they doing bringing on bendtner. sure walcott wouldnt have fucked up their only opertunity

I will give Arsenal this, they played well until Van Persie got sent off, but he shouldn't be argueing offsides calls. That is what fucking happens he got called off sides, he should have just run back and played. I am super pumped that Barcelona went through, They are gonna go all the way once Puyol and Pique are back. Also Did anyone watch Roma and Shakhtar Donetsk, they played that on my soccer channel instead of Barcelona v. Arsenal, but before the end of the first half, De Rossi on Roma elbowed Srna in the face, Srna got a yellow card because the ref didn't see it. It was complete crap and the wrong guy got the yellow card. just my thought on that.

Fuck yeah Barcelona. Messi is such a filthy player - his first goal was unreal. Basically Arsenal got shit on.

that game got good towards the end. eto'o was setting up everyone yo and ribery was doing work for bayern, hes fuckin dirty

...I knew there was a reason i liked you.

In the end things did get interesting today. Bayern must really be regretting those missed chances. Ribery was ok, but not nearly what he's capable of. (I don't think he's ever matched the 06 WC performance alongside Zidane)

Unsure about man utd. I hate them and wanted them out, but i also want them to have as many fixtures as possible. Hopefully they accumulate some injuries and get tired, so arsenal can slip past them in the league.

i missed most of the bayern and inter game but i watched the highlights and man they got raped of so many chances i was thinking holy shit so close everytime haha

Bayern Múnich:

Shots: 19

Shots on Target: 9

Goals: 2

Inter Milan:

Shots: 13

Shots on Target: 3

Goals: 3

In the end I'm glad that Intern won. I betted about 100 euros on them.

I was so tense near the end thinking they would lose but then when Pandev scored reliev washed over me in an awesome wave.

thats what everyone has though the other 7 (I think...) times Lyon has knocked out madrid too.

Bernabeu really isn't quite the fortress people make it out to be. Real is very vulnerable.

But nonetheless, I still think real will go through.

Two really good games on right now. I'm hoping for one of the Madrid center backs to get sent off, drama.

petr cech's been having a hard time it seems. Looked like everytime he had to handle the ball he fumbled or dropped it. No goals of course though, so it doesn't matter much. But he was absolutely rooted on that fk.

Lloris and casillas on the other hand seem to be doing quite well.

been watching chelsea....how in the HELL have they not scored?

Every 20 seconds drogba or anelka is through on goal. Gotta give props to the defenders though, they're going all out tonight.

If anyone is interested, the Quarter Final and Semi Final draws has just taken place.

Quarter-final draw: Real Madrid v Spurs; Chelsea v Man United; Barcelona v Shakhtar; Inter v Schalke.

Semi-final draw: Inter/Schalke v Chelsea/Man United and Real Madrid/Spurs v Barcelona/Shakhtar.

I

truly want to see Man U in the final and win it but that's just because of van

der Sar who will retire after that game.

I'm horrible at predictions so here we go:

My predicitons are:

Quarterfinal:

Real

Madrid v Spurs: Give the edge to Real, they are a force not to be messed with.

Chelsea v Man United: Man United, the Chelsea

players still fear van der Sar lol.

Barcelona v Shakhtar: Barcelona, cakewalk.

Inter v Schalke: Difficult, if Inter plays

well they will win but Schalke has Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, one of the best

goalgetters in the world.

Semi-final:

Inter

v Man United: This one is very hard and could go either way, can’t make my mind

up. If Inter plays like they did last year.

Real

Madrid v Barcelona: I give the edge to Barcelona.

Final:

Inter/Man

u V Barcelona: Thinking Barcelona,

hoping for Inter.

i think the second leg of united chelsea taking place at old trafford could really give united the advantage. wont be easy

fucking peter crouch is a moron, and did anyone see that first goal by inter? the announcers were saying it was a few yards over the halfway line so it must have been sweet

Spurs have a long way to go now - They have a mountain to climb to get any sort of result here now...

yea its ray wilkins. not watching it but i've read that he's been shit tonight, as always.

2-2 in the inter game now. good one, that match

3-2 schalke.

this game has been excellent so far.

and aside from the missed handball by the scum, reffing has been alright

here's some fun facts....

up until today Arsenal was the only team to score more than 3 goals away at milan.

up until today Arsenal is the only english team to ever beat real madrid at the bernabeu.

Too funny to watch Spurs get taught a proper lesson, they can't play with the class teams of Europe for even 10 minutes, forget two matches. Crouch ruined any hope his team had with those rash challenges, anybody remember his flying ninja kick on Mikel in 2007?

Inter losing proves how terrible the Italian league really is.

i don't agree with you. The spurs have some good players and is a good team. Not the best no, but they can compete with the class teams of Europe. However like you said, crouch just ruined it all. with 10 men vs Real madrid is impossible for the spurs
