2009/2010 Gear Guide?

Yupp, I should have search-barred. I was even the first to comment on in the other thread. GO ME!
 
Basically the bottom line of this situation is that we had the gear guide ready for beta testing a long, long time ago. However, the first group of beta testers took a poke through it, and didn't like it.

We went back, made a bunch of revisions, and again - didn't like it.

Frankly there's too many things on Newshoolers that we've launched before they're ready. The last thing I want is to launch another half-assed section that sort of functions... that was the old newschoolers. :)

We made the decision to drastically improve the guide, but accept that its going to be extremely late to the launch. I would WAY rather this, and you guys asking where it is than to launch it half finished.

That being said, things are really shaping up, and when this thing does go live its going to be absolutely fantastic.

And yes, Malcolm and Matt have been instrumental in getting a lot of detailed information in there. :)

 
It should be at some point over the summer. You will probably see a super beta version before that, so we can get some proper testing and feedback. Bottom line though, we're not pushing this thing out until its ready.

 
So how we doin guys? Any nearer to finishing? Can I start a hype train?

IM DONE!!!!! SO STOKED TO BE DONE!!!! it took for ever but I am now done! the info now needs to be sorted out and cleaned up into a good web layout. this took long because its essentialy like a 20 person job done by two people ( me and malcolm) who live one hour and a half distance from the office. BUT now its done and I am fucking stoked!
 
i understand that MatRich has been done for a month and i appreciate what he's done, but i and others im sure would like a time range. thanks

I'm going to say this one more time, it's done but it's being worked on so its awesome. Stop worrying and get patient.
 
Deffinetly

if this thing doesn't come out before Nov... Which by then people are almost buying skis without a guide for them!
