^hey dude, as a big mountain charge ski, the 193 would definitely be your choice. It isnt rockered and has a much stiffer flex which is what you want at higher speeds and variable conditions. the 186 is designed to be more of a tree ski, as it is heavily rockered and has a somewhat softer flex. the tail rocker on the 186 helps you shut it down and pivot easier in tight situations. The reason the 193 doesnt have this is because it wont lock into a carve as you would want in higher speed situations. also, when doing bigger cliff drops, it keeps you from rocking backseat (another reason why it isnt a twin tip, as it will hold a carve better and help you stomp your landings.) Other suggestions would be the ANT or he new Mothership, but dont get me wrong, I love my 4frnts, theyre a great ski and I like not having the twin tip on my dedicated charge skis for those performance benefits. Just an fyi though, 4frnts are a bit heavier of a ski which improves their performance through hardpack and crud, but is obviously a touch heavier as far as swingweight goes if you were going for that.
