Hey guys/girls, this is a thread for anyone attending Selkirk's SROAM program this year in Nelson BC!! I myself will be attending (1st year), and am looking for a place to live, and hopefully some roomies, and what better place to look than NS!!!! It might be a little early to make housing arrangements, but even just getting to know eachother bit would be cool too. Alumni comments and pointers are welcome as well!!!

I can't wait to get out there, I'm moving all the way from Ontario (cambridge to be precise) and my home hill has 200 vertical feet, take that westcoat bitches!!!!

Anyway, I'm still looking for some roomies, I've just got the new housing list and there are a few shared accomodations that sound pretty sweet. If anyone is interested let me know!!

P.S. I'm male, 20yrs old, mature (being mature is knowing when and where to be immature :). I'm also pretty sexy... if that helps

Honestly, i have never been to Red when the conditions have been good. It's weird. Eithe icy icy icy, or absolutly NO visibility and decent snow. But I'd love to hit it on a good day, hopefully someday.

the new chair is so shitty

its a slow one still

but if youve ever been to fernie and ridden the mega slow one that goes past the condos our new one is the same as that. And its re-aligned so it will take even longer, but the t-bar shortcut to the motherload will work soo much better on powder days now.
 
gonna bump this thread. i'm really considering it for next fall possibly. tips, anything will help.
