Has anyone skied on any of these 2 skis? I've seen both specs only I wanna know how they perform. I'm looking for an all mountain that'll do well on pow aswell as groomers.

If anyone knows any online shops that carry them it'll help also... specially the Prophet 80.

i wouldn't waste my time on the 80. remember the assassin from last season. similar ski.

get the 100 with the true twin tip.

same as last years assasin aye? you think a 100mm waste will do good on groomed runs? I don't get to see 2much pow now a days... I'll eventually will though

I would choose in this order:

Prophet 100

Skogen

Prophet 80 (which I wouldn't even consider)

there are a ton of other skis out there, Seth Vicious, Moships, etc you could also be looking at. It will just make you decision harder though.

i like your style. dude, lizzie's fucking turn like any other twin on groomers. it dosnt matter how big it is. and like he said, you cant go wrong with a fatty. its just better all around.

skogen and 100s are both great skis. u cant go wrong. 80 sounds to skinny and pointless when u can get the 100

well i got the assassin mtxs and they seem like a good all mtn ski and i really never got to try them in the pow cause im in the east and we dont get to much or it so u know but i guess it will work good in about a foot of pw but other then that i doubt it will do to good in the pow so go with the 100s

They're still making the 80's, they've decided not to release the 75's.

go wit the 100s.

i have a pair of MSPs (90mm underfoot) and they are not nearly wide enough. (i spend 80% time on the Right Coast).

yeah as I said... I heard it from getboards! you know how it goes with them...

and yeah... i prolly will go with the 100, seems a better all around ski. one more thing I'm 178... think 179's will do the job, or should I go bigger?

Line did make the 80's and a few 75's are going to be on the market. The Prophet 100 is where it is going be at. this ski has already caused a stir this early in the season and with the kicked up tail this ski is actually pretty fun on groomers as well as epic in powder. Not to mention this ski comes with the 6 pack Quickmount system so you can mount it forward or 43mm back for when you get dumped on. Sounds like a great feature for the kind of skiing it sounds like you do. Talked to Jason on Friday anmd it looks like the Prophet 100's will be in around the 1st week of October maybe a week or two sooner. There is already a waiting list on this ski at most shops so you may want to jump on it soon. Line will not be over producing skis like they have in the past so you are not going to see as many sold for CHEAP in the spring.

yeah i know about their production so i'm def moving fast on these...

so what size you should i go with? 179 or 186, i'm 178meters (5.8 ft) and weigh about 180pounds

The 179 would be perfect for you. The 187 would be great if all you did was big mountain or you were bigger, but you really do not need the bigger ski. For park and all mountain the 179cm at your height and weight I do not see any reason to go longer.

179 to 187 isnt a huge jump. its 3 inches. wont be a big difference. im gonna get the 187 and just mount it a bit farther forward then normal.
