To start off im 6feet 160lbs. Skis are mounted at there cab forward stance. (2.5cm back from center im pretty sure)
The new construction, core thickness and added "3D leveledge" which prevents binding rip out and adds stiffness, and the new tip and tail shape make this ski pretty much uncomparble to last years ski. Other than the fact it's the same dimesnions.
These skis are stiff. They reminded me of the orginal madtrix before they softend them up. But a wider platform.
I couldn't make these skis chatter, and while going as fast as i possibly could arching huge hard turns, i could never overpower the ski. Which is pretty easy to do in almost any other park ski.
They rode everywhere with ease, super stable, great and smooth switch. Held there own on rails, and in the park. You can hit anything with the big stiff tails.
But, the stiffness comprimises butterability. You can still butter, but cranking all my wieght and power on the tips and tails, it was a barely a butter compared to something like the fujative.
If your a strong skier sick and tired of skis washing out on you, and chattering like a mad man at high speeds, or a bigger skier looking for somthing that isn't a noodle, this ski rocks, it has lots of camber and has pretty good pop if you can load the tails with enough pressure. It took my a while to get used to it, but in no time i was olling it just like any other park ski. It's a great all mountain twin that holds it's own in the park.
All in all, as i stated earlier i would say it reminded me most of the 'original' Head Mad Trix but on a wider platform.
I guess that's it.
