2006 Ar5 Topsheet....wtf

ok first day riding on my ar5s was yesterday and i checked like 10 min ago and there is one small chip out of the tip and one like 3cm chip out behind the binding and this one is deep

WAHT THE FUCK?!?!
 
Same thing happend to my line Skogan Sprangs. Its so Fucking dissapointing. NOt much you can do tho. They might warrenty if it is really bad and they are in a very good mood.
 
same thing happens to my vicous. if you honestly care, you could try to talk to the company, but its all cosmetic, so it doesnt matter.
 
I talked to the rep for canada and he said he would hypoxy it for free. But that was line and I dont know if you have the Armada Rep for where you are just chillin in your shop.
 
yup, my MSP's have sidewalls, and the on the 2nd day they had a couple chunks outa them..... it was just the topsheet tho

dont get me wrong, they're still sic skis
 
I know, I hat putting chips in brand new skis. I did it to my chronics before I got them on snow.
 
i really dont consider what happened to your vicious and my public enemy cosmetic when i can see the wood of the core below my topsheet.

water can get into the core and weigh down the ski at that point. Thats what im worried about.
 
when you get new skis, through them onto concrete, this way when you chip them skiing, you dont feel so bad
 
yeah the topsheet on my old publics got ripped to shit but they made the topsheet differently on this years model so hopefully it wont happen
 
my volkl dogens are falling apart, this is my second pair and they are delaminating again and they chip like crazy, deffs not a durable ski at all.
