2006 2007 K2's are in

the fujative, pe, sv and silencer ride really well. the silencer is awesome for the money. the graphics are hot. in the flesh they look way better!
 
have you seen them tho actually in person? I didn't like the graphics when i saw a pic of them, but when i saw my friend on them earlier this year they look so sick! the bases are super sick. heres my friend with them. just a couple shots of the bases

Has anyone ridden the silencers. like are they just a "nice price" ski or do they ride pretty well. the only concern i have is if they are chatty at higher speeds. or are they pretty good all mountain?

i love k2 skis; but, (and this is just my opinion) the next vicious were cool when i saw the pics online, but when i saw them in person last night, i was disapointed. the colors are just kinda dull or something, i don't know. just wasn't real stoked on them. i prefer last years topsheet hands down. this year's has a real depressing emo vibe due to color and graphics, and last years are bright and make you want to rip. however, one cool thing about this year,s is the eyes are blank so you can see the wood core.

I really liked the silencers, The shape is really nice and I found that they were actually skiable. They did fairly well at high speeds, although i felt a bit of vibration at the higher speeds. It's a great ski for the price.

Like any review you have to remember just because i like it you may not. I am not a park rat. I have been teaching for years, I coach a bit, I used to race years ago, I am not a park rat and unlike many of you NSers I can actually ski WELL outside of the park. You should also know that I tryed them in ontario, so a lot of ice and short runs. Also I am a very light person.

are the pe's a better park ski or is the foil? Which one is better all mountain, and which one is lighter. Ive been debating agianst myself on which ski to get for the past 2 months? Im looking for a very good park ski that is also good all mountain.
 
foil will be lighter... but salomon skis aren't known for their durability. Plus, i'd rather not have the same ski that every shop in the nation has as a rental ski. Go with the k2's.
