Hey whats up I cant decide on the chronics or the mike nick pros. Has anyone skied them any suggestions?

 
from what I've heard, you probably want chronics. Haven't skied them though, but seen people on them, and they really liked them.

The chronics are awesome. For the money they are the best bet for sure. The Pro models cost a lil more but are worth it to, so if it comes down to money the Chronics for sure.

 
basicly the construction is the same as far as durability goes as far as i've heard. Thicker edges,bases,stiffer,etc etc. The Chronic is cheaper so if money is a factor go for them. I got the mike nicks. I should be getting them either today or tomorrow. I'll let u know how they look. IM anxious to see myself

yea i really like the nicks, i got for a super deal or i would have gone with the chronics, but i did want the fatter base and softer flex cuz im a butta motha.

are the topsheets glossy like normal or did they change that too?

lines topsheet never had problems with preasure cracks, they are glossy, but its softer than alot of the dynastar/rossi dynastar.

im getting the skogens because i skied them last winter and they were really sick, so id reccomend the nicks also because its basically the same ski

yea i really like how they arent all wigly if you know what i mean, and when i flex it it snaps back pretty quick, ollie band action!

i have the mike nick 05's and love them..sick ski, great skiing switch, durable as shit, even decent in the little bit of powder i ski'd them in

ive ridden chronics, also a great ski, perfect in park but still great all mtn riding

their both glossy topsheet, but my mike nicks have a reversed color pattern on the bases, pre-production demo models i think, but their the same exact ski as what people buy, just the black and white on the bases, that graphic, are transversed, so black is white and white is black

ive been on both i find te mike nicks a little stiffer. either way there both a sick ski

im getting the 05 skogens they look soo sick and i can't wait to get em but if your after a park ski get the chronics cuz there not as stiff as the skogens or the nicks

I would say spend more on Mike Nicks... I have the 04 models and they ride great... my thought everyone will have chronics this yr so u might look like another poser on the mnt with chronics just a thought people dont get mad lol

 
how do you figure, my friend has lines for 3 or 4 years and he has rode them hard and they are still in one piece, a few chips but ya, still in great condition

mike nicks are ugly in my opinion but chronis are sexy beasts

Do all the Chronic's have black bases with white text? cause mine do, but i've seen pics of them with white bases and black text

^alot of the lines have reverse colors on bases, my new mike nicks bases are blue with white text and tail, while all the pictures ive seen of them have white bases with blue text and tail

 
i have the 03-04 nike nicks and they rock my world but from what i hear about the cronics i would get them for shure .. plus they look sick . maybe if your not shure you can go to a local shop and ask to demo them both. lots of shops let you do that if you drop a credit card or your car lol . still good

all the NEW mike nicks ive seen are oposite base colors of mine..then again there were yellow base skogens with yellow text last year

nicks..personal opinion..ive got them both sitting on my wall next to me...lemme go flex em

yeah I wanted the nicks and im getting either the chronics or nicks for free but the nicks are real wide I was wondering if they are too wide for the east. Although I skiied on pes last year. Any thoughts???

 
86 is definately NOT too wide for the east..i rode them through summer skiing slush at killington, or end of season, and they were fine...great all around sksi

theres one word do describe the pollards.......wow........i dont know i just am in love with the graphics.....i dont know how good of a ski it si though

my mom plucks my ball hair at night when im sleeping and glues them to her eyesbrows cuz she had a terrible camping incident when she was younger and her eyebrows never grew back, shes been doing this since i was 13 im gonna have to start chargin that fat bitch for my hair
