Anyone and their mothers are complaining about the new 1080s. Everyone is bitching about the spaceframe, anyone notice that everyone bitching about em doesnt own the ski, and hasnt been on the ski, theyve just head they suck from a friend! its an awesome ski! the spaceframe made the 1080 a better firm ski. If its not the spaceframe that you guys are bitching about em, what is it? Its a nice ski.

I acctually did ride that a ski, and I also own the Scratch Fs and the blue 1080s, the new 1080s fell exactly the same as my blues ones,

and the scratches are AMAZING!!

yeh today i finally got to ski on my new 10s, and they were awesome, they are such a great ski

i must agree i just rode mine over the weekend for the first time and their awsome

me too, I rode on em last weekend for the 1st... 2nd time, I demoed a pair this summer and they were amazing so I had to get them. The 1080s are such a nice ski, and Im not complaining about the foam core, no one should

 
They are great skis but they delaminated on me the first day.

Eat. Sleep. Breathe. Ski.

 
I talked to two kids who had them at Okemo today, they both loved em. I was on my old 1080s (yellow, kickin it old school) and I couldn't believe how much wider they've made all the dimensions. Now to sit here and wait for my new concepts to get here....

The new tens are awesome, all this foam core shit is bugging me, ppl make it sound like it is foam like insulation or something when in fact it is high-density foam that is really strong and should not have the same warping characteristics of wood, if you bend a peice of wood 10,000 times it's bound to get weak too, so don't say the foam is a bad thing cause everything else is like it

 
Hell yeah I was going to make the same post but I was too tired (too much hiking for the goods). Anyhow I demoed them on Sat and bought them on Sun, sweet ski. They really rip up the goods. I took them in the park and was having a more difficult time tho, but Im sure this was due to moving up from a 169 00' ten to a 181 03' ten with demo bindings.

would be interesting to put all the critics out there to a ski test. Get them to rate the 5 twins in order of what they think is the best and then let them ride them blind folded!!!

I reckon alot of people will be surprise by the results!!

 
I know i would like to get that video, blindfolded people who try to run rails and big kickers must be awsome.

 
for the 3 days i had them they were awsome and then salomon lived up to thier reputation of blowing out edges quickly... oh well they were pretty sick

How Come the call it taking a dump when your actually leaving a dump?
 
yeah id like a vid of blindfolded skiers, but usually they just put black tape over the top of the ski so the testers cant tell

i love my new 10's, i live in the midwest so i got a lot of ice here, and they hold up great.

Yeah I have the 181 1080's, i stepped it up from last years dorions(169) and I love these skis. They're tight in the park although I haven't had a chance to take them someplace powdery

i skied a friends pair, and they rocked, but I know four people who have them, and all of their pairs have At Least one delaminated tip

 
they looked pretty good to me, ive only heard of 2 pairs delaminating, and 1 of them is from a guy who treats his skis like shit

everyone also talks shit about how Lines skis delaminate. Salomon, like line, has a return policy of it does happen, but beside that, WHY THE HELL WOULD THEY HAVE SUCH A GREAT REPUTATION IF THEY WERE BREAKING ALL THE TIME. too many people talk shit that have never even seen the new 1080.

i skied on the new tens yesterday and oved them they got lots of pop and arent heavy. i like them way better than the old ones
