20?? K2 Public Enemy

I just got off the phone with a few friends @ K2 and here is the 411 on the K2 Public Enemy.

The ski might be a mid season or 2003-2004 release

The graphics are not set yet, trying different ideas

The ski is not completely dial in yet, but VERY close.

It will not be a new Enemy, it is completely different. Totaly re-vampted.

The pros have been testing it and they still are making changes as we speak. I might have some pics of the graphics in 2 weeks (keep fingers crossed) I wil keep you posted.

some people have described what the graphics that they saw, but according to a good friend at K2 they have not done a final choice yet, they actually have 3 different top sheets.

yes there are different topsheets.. but each design is very similar.. the only differences are in colors and logo placements. the ski will be the black and white riot scene.

of course the construction will change based on rider ideas and input.

personally, i think they should put the guys from the old group public enemy on the ski...that would be dope. there is only 3 pairs made so far(as of last i heard)...all in whistler. but they are trying to get a pair down to hood.

Shane and Pep have the k2 public enemy and they said it will come out in december. the graphic is really cool and it was made by a digger at high north.It is such a sweet ski.

 
ya i met the digger who did the graphics and how he described them it sounds so sick!! I wanna see them just for the art work... their supposedly black white and red......

i saw szcos (however you spell his damn name) with them, they are one fine looking ski....some really really nice graphics escpecially the way they say ' public enemy'

The graphics are cool, but I think that the colors need to be changed.

wich is why you are not on the k2 graphic design team. i think that the graphics are just fine with the black and white. they look strange in the pictures.. but when you see the topsheet for real you will dig it.

They would look better if the topsheet was straight white instead of the off white that it looks like from the picture. It could just be the picture though....anyways its got a sick design no matter the colors.

The ski is white and the design really is the final one. There are no other topsheets. It will be released this next season, not in 2003-2004.

 
I just got back from High NOrth today, session 2. It was so sick. Easily the best lane on the mountain. We were up there for canada day, and smoked a joint in the middle of town square i a gondola. If tyler post on here whats up dawg. Hope you had a good trip home. Anyways those skis are sick. They are an actual twin. Big tip and big tail. They are pretty wide 2. The graphic on em is sick. They look so sweet. But Anthony Borowski was skiing on some new skis, i am not sure if I am suppose to reveal the name of the company but it is sick. Anwyas later

that kinda sux... but i think Line is kinda gunna kill competition with there new binding though, will just have to wait and see.

 
im in the market for new skis..this ski sounds amazing...to bad i need a pair at the begining of the season :(
