im gonna be in vermont for two weeks over christmas and we plan to ski almost everyday. im gonna be staying in quechee at some relatives house. need any help with picking out a few different places to hit. planning on killy stratton and stowe. any help would be appreciated

dude, dont waste your time aith killington and stowe. all you will find there that time of year are massive lines and stuck up pricks. if you can, spend the majority of your time at Smugs, Stowe, and Jay.

Did you tell him not to waste his time at stowe, and then to go to stowe? Killy is what i skied bout all my life, yah there are a fair share of joeys but whatever, they should have a sick park this year. If ya want tree lines go to stowe and mad river glen

the lines at killington shouldn't be as big this year, from what i heard season pass sales are down 2/3. I heard that a while ago though so it might've changed since then.

I would recommend

Jay (my favorite)

Smuggs

Sugarbush

MRG if the snow is good

Stowe if its your thing, personally not my favorite

I would suggest skipping stratton, but I don't spend a lot of time in the park so I guess if you're a park rat you can disregard my list.

Sugarbush

Mad River

Jay Peak

If you wanna hike for some good, deep tree skiing (and if the snow is good) try Lincoln Gap or Big Jay. Stay away from Stowe's backcountry unless you are with someone who knows it. it can get pretty burly in there and plenty of people get fucked up.

im willing to bet thats because theres no more asc and people just having killington as part of their pass went down.

just a suggestion but you should pick out one pass and get a season pass for those mtns. i think theres some different combos in vt like jay and bolton or something,, but if your going to be skiing over 10 days with passes at 60$$ thats 600 bucks compared to 350 or whatever for a pass

yo stratton and stowe you cant go wrong witht hose two. and jay or mad river is a good experience if your visiting

Stowe is a lot of money, around 80$ for a day pass. Jay is cheap compared to everything else, and is very sick. You can get a t-bar pass for like 10$ at Smuggs and just lap their park if you want park. You can ride park at night at Bolton for like 35$.

I'll be at killy for a few days around the 26th. can't wait. with two weeks I'd probably go to Killington at least once, but don't limit yourself to one mt.

thats a hard choice. Mt. snow has been steped it up this year with the new managment. They both will have real good parks. Mt. Snow does have some steeper stuff to offer and more trees. But i wouldent go to either for that type of skiing.
