well it depends...two shitty or mediocre cards is obviously better then one shitty or mediocre card...but more expensive probably than one good card.

But if you are talking about dual setup with a new SLI geforce then you have about three games that have enough power to push a setup like that.

Technically however, with two sick cards you can probably proccess HDTV pretty well.
