they had a lot of little boxes and such opening day last year. beats what snowbird or alta have up, and with the snow not being the sweetest, that would be the most fun, for me anywayz

 
snowbirds got a few rails n boxes up. Alta suprisingly enough had 3 rails up today for opening today. Times are changing...

first, the temps are still in the upper 40's. second, there won't be jumps, but there will be rails and boxes up soon. as for pushing back the opening, go look at the base area. there's a 25 foot wide cat track to ski on down payday. try skiing on that with 5000 other people. not worth opening yet.

Living in PC is a hell or a lot better than any other place in utah, besides up north.

1. less people

2. less traffic

3. more bars in a small area than anyother place in utah

4. 3 resorts within 7 minutes of eachother

5. no fucking inversion to cut years off you life.

Do you want me to continue. For the record as well, this is the first year that it has stayed this warm for this long I can remember, and I warned that we had one more bad snow year. the other resorts really arn't doing that well either. PC usually doesn't open until thanksgiving. the other resorts usually don't open till this or next weekend too, we got one lucky storm so brighton and the other resorts got to open early.

 
The early storm was lucky, I said nothing about how much more snow cottonwoods get than PC-whcih anyone who skis in Utah konws is 2 to 3 times more.

 
Im just giving you shit, I've never skied park city before I just hear its flat compared to the SLC resorts thats all

most jibbers cant ski the mountains in the cottonwoods anyway,

so I understand why most people on this site will like PC better

plus it snows way too much in the cottonwoods

 
YEAH, I will never disagree thats its flat. it is and whenever I want to go ski steeps I go to Alta.

Also 9 out of 10 jibbers I know, personally and ski the whole mounain just as well as any other 40 years old powder hound.

 
or u could live at alta like me. wont find many mormons up here.
