2 feet in denver...

Just watching the news and it said Denver was about to get two feet dumped on it. I hate everyone who lives in or around Colorado right now. I'm stuck down in north Carolina, we have 4 days of skiing left and its going to rain on every one of them. Somebody in denver go get some sick handrail shots for me.
 
Nah don't be jealous, Denver has been pretty fucking warm all season long, it rarely snowed and if it did it was only a couple of inches. And by pretty fucking warm, i mean 50-70s constantly.

That's like the first major storm Denver has had this season so far.
 
yea i remember being in denver in mid january where the temperatures were 60+. thats wierd for january. have fun with the snow den den
 
just lookin out my window to about 8 inches of snow so far in boulder. gotta get up to vail tomorrow for some nice powder!
 
it was 80 in denver all last week, there hasnt been snow on the ground for longer than an hour down there all year...they arent lucky....CO winter blew this year
 
well just cuz i like making people jealous.... my mtns gotten 10 feet this month soooo...... yeahhh...IN YO FACE MUTHA FUCKAZ!~!!!
 
yup its been blizzarding all morning its the first time in a long time that we will be able to film some urban rails. there has been no snow all season.....its about time.
 
update: pretty sure we can consider this a blizzard.

i have a test to take a half hour away and i dont think im gonna be able to take it...
 
haha im so stoked im coming up there tonight i would have left 30 minutes ago but the trip leader postponed leaving due to the storm gah its gonna be soooo sick
 
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I'ts dumping so hard right now. FInally got some snow in denver, its been the driest season we've had in years
 
Damn everyone on the West Coast. The east coast now is melting and we're hittin' 50 degrees.
 
nice, when i was in CO last year, it was ridic, theyd forcast a big storm id wake up early for work or w/e and thered be like an inch or two or just slush on the ground and id be like wtf . i actually bmx'd out there more than i skiid
 
MMmmm, snow. The drive to vail from breck was whiteout this morning at like 8 30...I could barely see the car in front of me.

But face shot after face shot were SO worth it
 
Breck was so fun today. The drive up was pretty gnarly in some spots, a truck on 93 did a 360 right behind us right as we were leaving boulder. That's always a good way to start a drive, sooooo worth it though.
 
to the people thinking urban: why not just shred vail tomorrow, sounds like there will be snow stickin around the denver area for a while for urban
 
the snow will be in vail twice as long as it will be in denver. and denver hasnt had this much snow all season which means this is prolly the last and only time to hit up the streets. like a g.

but im also going to steamboat on sunday...so either way this is gonna be the best weekend ever!
 
That's what I'm saying, who cares about Denver. And there are definitely not 24" falling. Get real guys, look out the window or measure or something. Not even close. 2 foot drifts maybe.
 
even though i got 2 classes cancelled, this storm is still bullshit. im in fort collins, so i cant drive to the mtns, and there isnt shit to do around here in the snow
