I've decided that fast and furious made a bunch of dumb fucks in america. It made people believe that you could buy a honda accord and with 3 grand and make it a 'ten second car'. So everyone bought a honda and put a 5 foot 'wing' on it and bought a freeflow (bumblebee exhaust) and continue to annoy everyone in town except them. In order for a honda to do a ten second quarter mile I am convinced that it would take at least 100k in modifications. I mean the fastest stock superbike in the world Ninja-ZX12R does a ten second quarter mile and has a 0-60 time of 1.7 seconds. In order to make a honda accord do 0-60 in 1.7 seconds or something even in that zone it would take incredible engineering and the money to back it. Just my two cents ( a real sportscars enthusiast)

that bike is NA and its 0-60 is done in first gear. thats a blazingly fast 0-60 but that doesnt mean you need a 0-60 of under 2 secs to make a 10sec 1/4 mile pass.

I'm just back from the Matrix and I saw the preview for this movie. The only good looking car in the trailer was the old red/white looking one right at the start - looked like a Mustang, couldn't see the whole thing. Why people would spend thousands to make their cars look like that is beyond me. I'm not saying it's bad to have a hobby, but that is pretty obsessive.

 
whatev. Theres a skyline in 2f2f. skylines decimate all. its not even funny how badass skylines are. here is a '95 skyline gtr700 that puts out over 1300hp and has a 1/4mi time of 8.96@161mph. It rapes that shitty crotchrocket.
