hello all i was wondering if any of you have been to LES 2 ALPES in france in early august, if there is enough snow etc...

thx

Yeah, its an awesome park. There's tons of kickers, the biggest will be at least 18m (55ft thereabouts). The poor winter didn't affect the snow on the glacier. I havent been there in the summer but I'm going to be there this summer because its one of the best in Europe. There aren't so many rails but enough to keep you entertained.

I've been twice, it's been a few years back--- but when i was last there it was good fun. Typical glacier snow, with a few good jumps and lots of good off piste skiing. Be sure to check out La grave next door while you're in town, that place is crazy! There's alot of park features at Les2alpes and the village is fun. As long as they have a big now like I hear it will be sick. Have fun and check out Le Rodeo it's a fun bar with a mechanical bull, try their La Monoco, it's beer with juice....dam good.

Can't speak for the summer, but the park was great all winter. Perfect 25m kicker and everything was groomed nice daily.

thank you i think my decision is made but i have already been to tignes and by the end of july snow conditions get realy poor and i d like to know how is the snow in les 2 ALPES in the first half of august .

thx

i went for 4 days at the start of last august and how good it was just depended on how cold it was at night. 2 days it was okay 1 day it was not so great and the next day it snowed all day and the glacier was empty so that was awesome.

As far as summer snow goes, LDA will be fine in August, the park will have a really good set-up. I'm not sure what you really expect if you are actually talking about snow conditions...its summer
