Any classes I should reconsider upperclass people?

Maybe ones that qualify you for more than manager at MC Donalds?
College in is crazy. you'll like it there.

Sorry I'll be helpful too. If you want more philosophy, I took philosophy of society with seacord, and it was pretty awesome. For the record:
Ill have a house on MoorheadElectrical EngineeringDifferential equations w/ linear algebra; Circuits I; General Physics II, Experimental Physics I, Computers As Components.
Ill be a sophomore, you guys can all come to my parties, but only if you bring 3 good looking girls per guy. AND I STRESS GOOD LOOKING!
Not really, but get used to hearing that shit a lot!

How much of a work load do you think I will have with those classes? And I'm sketched out by the maths I suck bawls at math, how difficult are they?

definitely take the ATOC weather and atmosphere classes for your science CORE. you learn a ton about how weather works and its super interesting from a skier's perspective. plus its pretty easy and the lab is fun.

hope you're stoked for CU, boulder is dope

OMG CU BOULDER?!?! I WANNA GO THERE WHEN I GRADUATE IN 3 YEARS! BEST SKI COLLEGE EVER!!!

yeah yeah, we all know the U is where its at for skiing...but couldnt you at least think that maybe we're not just going to boulder for the skiing? I mean sure, I love skiing its my favorite sport but I also got into the U...I just happened to chose boulder because I like the campus and atmosphere more than utah. No hate, ive got friends that go to the U, theyre just completely different schools.

Im not making fun of people who go to boulder, place is fucking sick, but just the kids/hype kids in HS give it.

Utes>buffs cant wait for the buffs to get straight embarrassed in pac 10(12) football.

Dude I'm not hyping it, I'm just trying to get a feel for how many freshies will be on campus with me next year and hopefully make some new buds irl.

being a colorado native since birth, most likely an attendee of CU, and the son of a CU grad, i am deeply saddened to say that you are very right :(

coach hawkins is the worst thing to happen to that football program since those rape cases that got him the job in the first place.

i didn't quite literally mean that, but yea i'm down to ski with you. I'll ski anything big mountain, can't claim any skills in the park, but i'll hit shit.
but i do party as well.

hey im thinking about applying there how much skiing do you guys get in normally? business major of some kind probably

That's an embarrassing list of classes.

We got embarrassed in the Big 12 as well, nothing is going to change.

Im livin in Farrand and going into it open option.

I think im taking 1st year writing, intro to ethics, some geography course, and some bs nutrition course.

Sorry to say it to anyone but I had my orientation earlier this summer and that shit sucks. Don't skip anything or you cant register for classes

Wow

Where to begin?

First, as a working CU graduate let me say 1) Congratulations 2) Enjoy 3) Safety Third.

In following with the thread here's what I was

Hallet

Business

Bunch of Intro Business Classes.

3 Biggest Lessons Learned from College That You Won't Learn Until It's Too Late (b/c you're not going to listen to me)

1) Talk and get to know your professors, if you don't you'll have every reason to think the class is too easy, too hard, too pointless, not worthwhile, stupid, etc, etc.

You'll quickly realize that even the bad teachers are great people, and in doing so you'll do better in school and actually enjoy it.

2) You're there for school, and don't forget it. If you don't, and stick to a solid gameplan for getting work done/preparing for tests you'll quickly realize that it's possible to ski 50+ (or 70+ freshman year) and do well.

3) If you don't like the people, meet new ones. How El*Gato can claim he hates, or wants to light everyone he meets on fire, is beyond me. Yes there are tons of d-bags, welcome to life my man....don't think that would be different at other schools. Well maybe it would be, you could have fucking hipsters instead who I have even more of a problem with....who cares if they're nice.

to all the business students, you may be living next to other business students, I lived next to 12 others in kitt west, but anyway do your work together, such as projects, hw and quizzes. you will get much better grades that way. Instead of only your input you will have others to tweak the work. Plus some may be smart and take upper division classes, so you can use there graded work from those classes as a guideline when it comes time for you to take those classes.

well i'm not going there, but i have a friend who is and he's really fucking cool so you better be his friend. his name is grant walling. do it.

Junior - Electrical and Computer Engineering with Applied Math MinorCircuits 3, Electromagnetic Fields and Waves, Writing on Technical Design and Communication, Numerical Analysis....thats what real college looks like for all you business/film retards.

Computers as components was a cool class. i had it on the old curriculum though. do you know your professors yet?

of course your going to hear a bunch of hype about boulder from a skiing website, what do you expect? Every college gets hyped up by a some high schooler for some reason.
