so today was the first day we hit an urban.
it was just a down rail but had a 6-8 ft drop on one side.
im okay at rails not the best but today was the worst day ever for me.
i just couldnt commit. and it took like 5 trys for me to actually get on. which i finnaly did.

just wondering if anyone else has dis problem

sorry for shitty digital pictures.

uh well i havent hit an urban yet, but i would sugest find one that yo uwont get sacked on, so you arent as scared

or just man up

yeah its scary. ive had that problem. first urban was last sunday. you just have to be like, screw it im hittin it

the first urban i was supposed to hit was about 5 feet tall so i was scared scared shitless of smashing up my balls but i tried to man up but we ended up getting booted out by security just before iw as gonna hit it. well have to get another shot at that one.

something about it being an "urban" tends to play with peoples minds.. if the same rails were in a park people would have no problem with themit happens to everyone i think

its just that nobody else has hit the rails. so you dont know how it slides or anything. and its worse if there is a staircase or another rail right next to it. and there is less snow and concrete

it snowed like 7 inches then has been raining for the last 3 days. but the left over snow is easy to compact

first urban was last wednesday. and it went swimmingly. my friend couldnt commit though after nutting his self on the same rail last year he just jumped over the rail every time

its because you picked that rail, i think. it looks like it's not super easy to get onto, but most of all, the drop off on the left side of it discouraged you from putting any lean in that direction, you were shying away from the scary side. it might have been a better idea to try a rail that you could get onto easily enough without feeling like you would die if you committed in the direction of you'd need to go to get onto the rail.

its probably because you dont have enough speed. the more speed the easier it will to get on the rail, and grease the whole thing with out slippin off

bend your knees get low and use your edges u really have to commit too if u second guess u will get messed up
