1st pair of skis

Little black plastic skis the ones where you just strap you snow boots into when I was like 3

I am a skier because skiing needs a future
 
i started on some white elans that had some awesome purple and orange lettering...a strong 100cm......grew out of those, got on a pair of those K2 vpr's and starting ripping bumps...old skis are rad, hilarious

 
Damn, if some people had twins as thier first ski they have not been skiing too long.

Does anyone remember PRE's? Those were my first skiis, no kidding, like 110 PREs. The best part, I SWEAR, is that I bought them as old rentals from the Crested Butte ski shop. And you know how rental skis have that sticker on them where they write the previous renters name on them? I SWEAR mine said Barbara Bush! I still have them!

Yeah, thats right, I'm an old guy. I doubt most people on this site remember Barbara Bush...let alone PRE skis.

Thats right, I have the first ladys skis!

i just stumbled on a picture of me when i was like 4 on a pair of red atomic 90's circa 1984....i think i had a pair before that but i don't rememeber

I started skiing when I was 3 I dont even know what my first skis were. But the first skis that i can remembered when some Atomic racing skis. Then there has been so many skis since then that I cant even remeber it sad.:(
